I read a (swedish) book called "Anhorig", which is about substance abuse, and in particular alcohol. The book's quite difficult to relate to. I don't really know anyone with those kinds of problems.
But then I got to thinking about a friend of mine. Even though the situation is quite different. I feel like I want him to stop. Yesterday. But he doesn't care. And our other friends doesn't seem to care either. They just say that nothing/no one can make him stop. I know they're probably right, but still... I feel like there should be something... I don't know...

I had so much I was going to tell about my crazy weeks away from the computer. I was going to show pics and all, but NOTHING seems to work as it should. I guess I should be happy that I finally got internet access at all. Bare with me.

Day two...

...and the main event. Got up early to see the people in the canoes, and hang out with friends. Had some lunch and watched some more people in canoes. The weather was lovely and I managed to burn myself.
Time to go out in the evening. Somehow I got convinced into drinking. Again. At first it felt like a really good idea, maybe I could forget how tired and sick I really was, but as soon as I sobered up it got even worse. And I got the hick-ups. So I decided to call it quits even though it wasn't even midnight. Met some nice people though.

Day one...

...out of three of the local festival.

Went into town to see an old friend and ended up seeing three old friends, so that was fun!

Later I'd promised to go and have a look at the beer drinking fest. The only problem was that I'm really sick, and have barely any voice left at all. I had fun though. Met another old friend when we were leaving.

Time to go and face the music at uni. The ventilation-thing wasn't as big and advanced as I thought it would be, and I wasn't the only one who hadn't turned anything in so we got 'til August to finish. Too much time almost...

Just Friends

We watched 'Just friends' the other day. A pretty funny movie. The intro scene is the best though. I don't get the deal with people and The Notebook though... It is a good movie.

We also watched The Ringer with Johnny Knoxville. It's okey. Nothing more, nothing less.

I'm so fed up with saying the words "I don't have any money" and people sighing and answering "I'll pay then". I know that they're volunteering out of their own free will, but I still feel like I'm begging them for money. I'm not. I'm just stating a fact. I am grateful that I have such sweet generous friends though, don't get me wrong...

Reunion

Time for our whatever-school reunion. I didn't want go, I didn't have anything to wear! But I had some shots and agreed to go anyway. When we got closer to place we could see the guys standing there in suites and ties, and we felt a bit underdressed. Then we were greeted by smiles and hugs, and it felt a bit better. There weren't too many from our class there, but we got to see a couple of people that we hadn't seen in a long time, so that was nice. We had some drinks and enjoyed ourselves. Too bad everyone left so early though...

One of the girls told me she was going to France to study, I've wanted to do that for a couple of years now. Maybe I should look it up. I don't have to follow her, I can go next time or something....
