How to Have Peace With God….
|
|
Our Problem
The reason we do not experience this peace and abundant life is because we have all willingly chosen to sin. Sin is both actively disobeying God and passively being indifferent to God. Our sin separates us from God.

|
God’s Provision
Jesus Christ is the only solution to man’s problem. When he died on the cross and arose from the grave, He paid for all our sins. The Bible Says:
"For Christ also suffered once for our sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God." 1Peter 3:18
"God is on one side and all the people on the other side and Christ Jesus Himself man, is between them to bring them together." 2Timothy 2:5
|
| |
|
Our Pardon
We must each choose to accept the payment Christ made for our sins and we do this by personally trusting Christ and repenting of our sins. Repentance means turning from sin to Christ and asking him to take control of our life.

The Bible Says:
God’s Plan
God has a plan for our life filled with purpose, peace and clear direction. The Bible says:
"We have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." Romans 5:1 " I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly." John 10:10
"For all have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God." Romans 3:22
"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 6:23
Since the beginning of time man has tried to solve this problem without finding the solution.
The Bible Says:
"There is a way that seems right to man, but in the end it leads to death." Proverbs 16:25
|
| |
|
The Bible Says:
"For whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." Romans 10:13
"But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even those that believed in His name." John 1:12
Pray the following prayer if it expresses the desire of your heart. If you do this you will receive the gift of eternal life.
" Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and need your forgiveness. I admit that I cannot save myself. I believe that you died on the cross and rose again on the third day. I believe that you have paid the debt for my sin IN FULL. I trust you as my savior and give to you control over my
life. I wish to turn from my sin and follow you. Thank you Lord for hearing my prayer and saving me. In your name I pray these things. Amen"
