The Temporal Vortex
you wake up in a strange world. head down to the left, and climb up the ladder. go up the right branch. see that smaller branch off to the right??? go stand on that, but be prepared to run in a second. the branch shakes, and a berry falls off. sprigg scurries out of her house. the trick is to get into her house before she does. if she beats you back, just drop another berry. once inside, sprigg comes in: "EY YOU!!! Wot are you doin' in me 'ouse!?" she then talks for a bit, and lets you rest there for the night.
the next morning, climb down the ladder in her house, and save your game at the record of FATE. climb back up, and attempt to leave. sprigg will stop you. sprigg joined ya party! head outside, and back up the right branch. go into the hole and to the right. go around the hole with the eyes peeking out of it, and up to the right again. go around the tower, and push the boulder off. run back around the tower, down the path to the lower level, under the upwards-running waterfall, and push the boulder off the ledge again. this knocks the other boulder farther down out of the way. go back to the level sprigg's house was on and go up the left path this time. get the revive out of the chest. wander up to the tower again, go around it, and head inside.
harle is waiting for you. no matter what you answer, she's just gonna blabber on. then a spectre of serge makes an appearance, and sprigg says "open the door to reality only". whatever door he goes through on his level, choose the same door on your level. after about three or four doors the scene switches to a crazy maze-like thingy. harle gets bored. harle joined your partie! allocate elements to both her and sprigg (and to yourself, if you haven't already). go left and down, and hit the switch. go left, then straight, and get the mythril out of the chest. head left, then right, and collect the pendragon sigil c out of the chest. go back up to the switch, and hit it again. go left, then left again. go around the green fence, and get the mythril out of the chest. go back around the fence, head down the stairs on the left, turn right, then right, and jump into the mirror there on the lowest level.
you end up in the hydra marshes in home world (if you hadn't figured that out by your surroundings). just keep going towards the bottom of the screen to leave the area (the chests are of no consequence, they'r just a bone and a feather, stuff like that).
Opassa Beach -- Home World
the astral amulet doesn't work, does it??? what'd you do, break it?! sprigg suggests you "go and explain the situation to yer movver" (marge, your mom, back in arni). doesn't make much sense, but you got any better ideas???
Arni Village -- Home World
ouch! cooold reception home, huh. go into your house and talk to marge. she tells the story of how serge's father wazuki, and leena's father miguel set sail on a stormy night to try and save serge (this was after the whole panther demon attack). they got blown off course and ended up in the dead sea, a.k.a. the sea of eden. seems miguel never made it back. radius comes in, recognizes lynx, and challenges you.
radius: innate green, tech: longshot
lynx's feralcats, an electrobolt at lv.6, harle's moonbeams, and lynx's glidehook are enough to finish radius ("i stand defeated")
after the fight, radius finally listens. radius joined your party! "zut! this old geezer will only get in ze way!" radius suggests that you go find information on home world's general viper's dissappearance.
Fossil Valley -- Home World
the porre soldiers run away at the sight of lynx's face. there isn't much in fossil valley: leather from the dingos, and mythril where the bellflower and the big egg were. watch out for the drongos again. chances are, you'll have to fight the dodo to get the mythril (which you don't really need, but whatever floats your boat... the dodo's not a boss battle, but here it is anyway)

Termina -- Home World
termina in home world has been occupied by the porre army for awhile. a soldier recognizes lynx the traitor as soon as he steps into the port town. to the left of the bar is a soldier under the archway. talk to him and find out that you are to report to commander norris, who is at the viper manor ruins. enter the bar, and talk to the guy facing the first table for some info about the disappearance of the dragoons, and a hint of his extreme paranoia. don't talk to the barmaid, cuz she'll yell @ you *sigh* enter lisa's shop and buy some more high-level elements. enter her back room. lisa enters, and tells you that her father is in the shadow forest. now go to the smithy. zippa and zappa are having a conversation. talk to zappa afterwards. zappa joins your party! (he also gives you the smith spirit, which allows you to forge weapons anywhere on the world map, or at a record of FATE) go to van and gogh's house in the back. talk to gogh, and he tells you that van is in the back room. talk to van, and tell him you'll hire him. you hear voices in the next room, and gogh and the meanie land-lady are arguing about the rent. van says that he will return with the frozen flame. te land-lady leaves, and van goes into his room. he then returns. say that you are in fact looking for the frozen flame, and van joins your party! leave termina, and forge yourself mythril mail and a silver swallow on the world map using the smith spirit. (if you need more humour or carapaces, go to lizard rock and kill off some beach bums for humour, or go to the hydra marshes and kill the swarmp bug (the flying blue thing) in the first area for a carapace)
Shadow Forest -- Home World
bypass the first area. a cuscus is guarding a capsule in a chest, and there's mythril in the chest in the back. in the third area go around to the bottom of the screen, and enter the cave under the waterfall. lisa's father is there. talk to him. he won't give you what's inside the chest until you find him a rare mushroom (if you recruited nikki earlier, then you know that rare mushrooms grow in the large hollow tree in the next area... if not, you know now) ^~_*^ leave the cave, and enter the next area. all the way in the back is a submerged chest with a trap carnivore element. go further into the tree, until you find the ledge (second area of the tree). at the end of the ledge is a little kid. if you didn't recruit nikki, then this is easy. just kill off the wraith in front of the hole. if you recruited nikki, and therefore pushed a boulder in front of this hole in the other world, then there's a boulder here, as well.
either way, after all this, the father jumps out of the hole, and gives you a mushroom for saving him. don't worry about going deeper into the tree, cause there are porre soldiers blocking the entrance. go back to the cave under the waterfall and give lisa's father the mushroom. whoops. looks like you turned him into funguy. funguy joined your party! get the forest charm out of the chest.
Viper Manor Ruins -- Home World
the soldiers now let you by. radius reminisces about days gone by. talk to the soldier all the way at the top of the screen for some interesting facts. now go down into the well. go up onto the ledge the soldier's standing on, and he tells you to enter through that hole. turn left, go up, then right, up again, turn left, and go onto the platform (the chest in the area is a mythril helmet, if you actually want it). the soldier tells you to climb the ladder. enter the prison (the cell door is locked). go through the door. you've finally found commander norris. after explaining the situation to him, norris enlisted in your party! he says he has a boat, and you end up in termina. (norris needs a weapons and armor upgrade, by the way... go to the record of FATE in the inn, or just leave termina, and use the smith spirit to forge him mythril mail and an argent gun). back on the termina docks, go to the blue boat all the way to the left at the end of the dock.
El Nido Triangle -- Home World
If you'd been paying attention, then you'd probably want to investigate the "beam of light coming from the el nido archipielago" and the "monster" atop sky dragon isle. pilot your boat to the southwest, until you see the three islands in a triangle with a light in the middle. steer into the middle of the light, and go down. There's some mythril in this area, but do you really need the stupid stuff, especially since the puffy's in this area have a yellow tech (needlework) that takes off a lot of hp, and three of them can kill a party member. climb down, head towards the top of the screen, then turn left, and climb down those reefs. go up, then down. here, you'll have to battle a lot of sea life just to get the star fragment out of the chest. now you can leave the Triangle.
Sky Dragon Isle -- Home World
talk to the guy just standing there, and he tells you that there's a monster up there that attacks anyone with a star fragment. climb the stairs. at the top, you see something small and blue scurry away. talk to the guy wandering around, then open the chest (btw, it's just a trap... it's empty). watch the guy freak out as megastarky appears (+, no, this isn't a boss battle... dammit).
megastarky: innate white, tech: raydiation
this is a pretty hard fight. just hit him with a bunch of black elements, and lv.4 elem.s... (you'd do well to have harle in your party, as well...)
after the battle he takes your star fragment. chase starky and catch him with the x button: "starky shocked. starky got caught." after explaining that the star fragment is actually a part of his ship someone says that his ship could be still intact in the other world. starky jooined youur party! now head to marbule, as suggested when you recruited norris.
Marbule Possessed -- Home World
talk to toma (the second guy) twice, and ask him all four questions for information. when you ask about the dead sea, he tells you that perhaps the sage aboard the s.s. zelbess'd know where death's door, the entrance to the dead sea, is. he lets you sleep in the first hut for the night. during the night you hear voices. choose to check it out. a mermaid jumps into the water and swims away. toma comes out to see what you are doing up at this hour. he also tells you to go to the s.s. zelbess in the morning. ïrënës, the mermaid, overhears this. the next morning, ïrënës hails you: "Ëxcüsë më, sön öf män..." board your boat, and go to the s.s. zelbess
The S.S. Zelbess
the s.s. zelbess is behind mount pyre, and left. go up all the stairs, then head below-decks. enter the first room, and talk to miki on the restaurant balcony. the second door (the kitchen) is locked. go downstairs and to the right. enter the first door, x the stage, and watch sneff's magic show. the second door is locked as well. enter the last door, and ask the guy with the mop about the sage of marbule. tell the girl in the back that marbule's as beautiful as ever, and she'll tell you the story of how the ship got its name. go outside and overhear the conversation between the mop guy and the sailor. talk to the sailor, who mentions that the mop guy used to be the leader of marbule (a.k.a., the sage). he also tells you that he'll let you through to the grand slam if you get the captain's permission. go back upstairs and to the left. enter fargo's quarters, and overhear the conversation between him and ïrënës. she lets drop some interesting information about rock star nikki and dragoon deva marcy... talk to fargo, and one of your party members says something stupid like "we're from marbule!" fargo gets a little miffed, then he says he'll let you in if you beat him in a game of chance. go to the casino (the room directly under fargo's quarters), bet your boat, and play the game. no matter what fargo says, this *is* a game of skill... but don't worry, you're *supposed* to lose this round, like it or not... after you lose your boat, fargo leaves, and you have the casino to yourself. play the game again. now, here's a slight trick on winning: keep pressing start after the guy starts the wheel. when you see the pointer on south, or somewhere between south and southwest, press start, and x soon thereafter. the pointer'll land on north, usually, unless you took too long to react. N will double your points, E gains you 50pts., W deducts 50pts., and S equals "DEATH!!!". play for all rank prizes, or just go for the gold... the only prizes worth getting are rank ones. rank four is a bone, rank three's iron, rank two's mythril, and the rank one prizes are first a rainbow shell, then denadorite (both good forging materials... try getting more denadorite!!!). go downstairs to the inn (all the way on the left). notice the guy coming down the stairs. he yells at the cat for trying to go up there, and one of your party members says something about things being easier to investigate if only you were as small as a cat...???!!! (hey! remember sneff and his "cat on a hot tin roof"???) back in the stage room, the show's about to start. sneff asks you if you want to volunteer... duh! say yes! after he turns your party into cats, attempt to get away, and sneff tries to catch you, straining his back. now you're stuck being a cat, but that's not all that bad, is it??? exit the room through the kitty door in the left wall, leave the stage room, and climb the ladder. watch the cat near the kitchen. enter through the same hole he does. talk to the patchwork cat inside to get the monster mouth frame and get the frypanag out of the trunk. talk to the cat outside for some tips. head back to the inn. go around the counter and up the stairs. watch the guy help fargo cheat and put sneff even more in debt. he then gets surprised by you, and falls asleep. take the handle off the machine and leave. go ondeck and talk to the lady in yellow at the rail, then climb up the mast. watch the kitty run along the rope at the top, and follow suit. you find yourself aboard the magical dreamers' ship. enter the dressing room in front of you, and witness ïrënës asking nikki to sing marbule's song. leave, and head down near where your boat was docked. see the sage scrubbing walls on the other side. go back to the stage room. enter the dressing room through the kitty door. sneff is feeling much better. he changes you back. time to go challenge fargo again. he's in his quarters. nikki is in there already, asking about the sage. they get into an argument, where fargo basically tells nikki that he owns him. nikki notices your party, then the dresser in fargo's quarters. he comes to the realization that fargo is in fact his... father?!?! nikki then leaves. challenge fargo again. back in the casino, fargo takes his turn... and loses. he then notices that you have the handle, but wonders to himself how in the world you could have gotten it. he also now gives you back your boat, and grants you access to the grand slam. go down to the door that was guarded by that sailor, and he'll now let you through. go down the stairs, and exit outside through the holes where the cannons were on the s.s. invincible. remember that "game" awhile ago, follow the leader with the spectre of serge? kinda the same thing now. enter through the same door as the sage. after awhile he comfronts you. ask about the dead sea, and after awhile he asks you if you will go so far as to use brute force. answer "of course!", and the battle begins:
sage of marbule: innate white
this battle isn't incredibly difficult. everyone's tech skills should be enough to make him sag. usually, the sage casts turn elements on your party, but it's usually something to the effect of turn black on lynx, then cast photonbeam, or turn yellow on norris, then aerosaucer (haha, guess what, that's their innates in the first place). still, watch your hp, cause chances are one of these attacks'll put one of your party members in the red.
after the battle, the sage gives you the fiddler crab. nikki comes in and asks to be taught the song. he also invites you back to his ship later. itching to get into the grand slam yet? go ahead, i ain't stoppin ya... but be forewarned, you're not gonna be able to win now, but here's the line-up anyway:
round one: beeba (counter with beeba, or totalchaos), taurusoid (counter with lagoonate), gloop (counter with gobbledygook)
round two: spearfisher (counter with taurusoid), cybot (counter with cybot), gobblygook (counter with hotdoggity, catburgular, or crossbones
round three: cuscus (counter with whoot), cassowary (counter with tragedienne), airframe (counter with catburgular)
back in the casino, sneff is hitting the jackpot! follow him back to the dressing rm.
sneff joined your party! on deck, climb the mast and get on the platform. on the ship
enter the dressing room on the lower deck. nikki has been waiting for you, and
now proceeds to tell everyone his plan. after they go off to rehearse,
irenes joined your party!
Death's Door/The Dead Sea -- Home World
go to the sea of eden, and use the fiddler crab. part of the cliffs come
crashing down. enter through the hole. the entrance is blocked, and the evil sword
masamune. radius says you need the power of the holy dragon sword einlanzer
to override the power of the masamune. he also mentions that the sword is resting with its former
owner (garai) on the isle of the damned (a nesting ground for demons), and to get to it you need an
item that used to belong to Garai that is at Radius' place.
Hermit's Hideaway -- Home World
radius goes inside. wander around a bit, and after awhile he comes out with garai's keepsake. go
back onto the island and inside radius' house. up the ladder is an energizer suit, and off to the
left is a resistance ring. head to the island of the damned.
Isle of the Damned -- Home World
in the first area there are blacked-out doors with things inside. to open them you need to defeat
a willowisp in front of them. go up to the top, turn right, down, and to the left, and defeat the
willowisp there. target the willowisps first, cuz their fire attacks can make you lose control of
your party members (yes, even lynx), and they might even turn against eachother! ack! after defeating
this willowisp, the door opens, but don't go through yet. find the new willowisp, have it follow
you to the blackened door in the back of the screen to get the earthquake inside (allocate to norris,
if he's with you, since earthquake can only be allocated to party members of yellow innate). in
the front, through the archway, is another blackened door with a carapace inside. go through the
doorway on the upper level.
in this next area, go up, then enter the ribcage and go down to the
bottom of the screen. you end up on a side ledge. use the garai keepsake to go through the mirror.
get a willowisp to follow you up and around the cave, and all the way down. fight it in front of
the suit of armor to wake it up. defeat it to get the golden tiara. get a willowisp again, and
go past the front of the cave and down the ladder. get the inferno out of the door. now enter the
cave, and be ready for a not-so-nice surprise... your names are on the tombstone. radius comes in
and tells how he and garai found the masamune, but it overcame radius, and he killed garai with it.
uh oh... garai, apparently, doesn't seem to believe that radius is truly sorry, and will only let
you have the einlanzer if you defeat him.
garai: white, techs: triplecut, willbreaker
watch harle's hp in this battle. use norris' cureplus after reviving her. use feralcats, then
moonshine (to protect your party), glidehook, sunshower, moonbeams, gravitonne, and earthquake
should finish him off.
after the fight, you recieve the einlanzer. proceed to death's door.
Death's Door/The Dead Sea -- Home World
enter death's door, and radius places the einlanzer on the ground, neutralizing the masamune's
evil. continue onwards, and behold an awesome scene. a tsunami of destruction frozen in time in
the middle of destroying a city. in the first area you'll find an antired in a chest.
Highway Ruins - The Dead Sea
up the stairs and around to the front is a capsule in a chest. go back down the stairs and to the back. climb the stairs in this second area, climb the ladder, and go inside. battle the geos to get the screw out of the chest. down the ladder and to the right down the street is another screw. go across the way, down the stairs, and to the back to get the mythril in the chest. head towards the front of the screen is a freefall, both elemental and literally... *boom*! (owie)... allocate this to lynx. back up the stairs and further down the street is the only piece of *fully*-functional machinery in this whole crazy place...
highwayman: innate black, techs: exhaustgas (causes status effects + reduces your hit%), rampage
photonbeam @ lv.4 or higher, everyone's techs, iceblast (to attempt to freeze him), and lv.5 elem.'s are good things to use in this fight.
head further down the street and exit the area. in the next area wander about to get an antiblue and an antiyellow.
City Ruins - The Dead Sea
to the right is a resistance belt. down and to the right, inside the room are kung-fu shoes (and quite possibly a geos, if he's not runnin about outside). across the way climb the ladder and enter the tower. norris has electrical know-how! you learn a bit about the ruins, and about lavos. don't forget the earring of light in a chest off to the left. outside and down near the bottom of the screen is a geos staring at a chest. you don't even need to fight this dolt, just open the chest from the side to get the stamina ring. back on the sea is an antigreen.
Tower of Geddon - The Dead Sea
use the escalator to reach the second floor. around to the left is a... feather. (wow)... back around and to the right go through the doorway. talk to the geos sitting on the bench. he gets up to go catch a train. follow him, and inspect the floor where he dissappears to get the station pass. climb onto the subway and get the purify out of the chest. through the turnstiles and to the right is a holylight... equip this on lynx. the next section contains a medical book at the front of the screen. go back and slide down the chute. back in the main part of the tower use the escalators to get to the third floor. go left and activate the elevator. send it to the first floor. back down on the first floor enter the elevator to get the trashy tiara. head back to the third floor, and go right to get the mythril out of the chest (hating mythril yet???) go left and through the doorway. lynx sees a spectre of marle. avoid bumping into the things in the red dresses. tragediennes throw mega-heavy elements at you, and since you probably don't have any trap elements with you, you won't be able to ward off their attacks. don't worry, there's a way that you can fight them later, after buying trap elements. left and up the ramp is a feather. up the screen and to the left is a healall, and in the back is the prop sword (becomes the hero's sword when equipped on pierre). in the next area lynx sees a spectre of lucca (chrono trigger vetrans: getting phreaked out yet???). go right and up the ladder, then up the other ladder. inside the doorway you'll find a... mythril. (...) grumble to yourself, and go across the ramp to get a sealall elem. climb back down to the round thing from which you saw lucca, and climb up to the right. get ready for a *very* disturbing scene... well, you've found out what happened to the missing dragoons... see the yellow path off to the side leading up??? go up it, past the ghost of the dragoon, down, and get the diminish out of the chest. head back down the yellow path + towards the swirling vortex thingy n the back... where you see a spectre of crono. follow him inside. enter the enertron (the machine-thingy off to the right), and get all your hp restored! save your game. head further back, and on the right is a screwy dress, and on the left is a hellbound. go farther back, and in the next area read the inscription under where crono is sitting. after being accused of being a murderer by the spectres, miguel, leena's father appears out of nowhere. refuse to stay there, and prepare to fight.
miguel: innate white, tech: holydragswd
everyone's techs plus norris casting earthquake should finish miguel off.
after the fight you hear FATE's voice: "I love you so much... That's why I sometimes desire to smash you to bits!!!!" she is destroying the dead sea... it seems as if you won't make it, but the sky dragon comes to your rescue and lands you on marbule. get on to opassa beach already!!!
Fossil Valley -- Another World
there's nothing here, so just walk right on through. damn, there isn't even any mythril!!! (+ i know how much you love mythril...)
Termina Occupied -- Another World
what, are we back in home world's termina??? (did you break kid's amulet again???) haha, just kidding... no, it seems that, with the dragoons disappearing to fort dragonia, the porre military took over termina. here's a hint: you might wanna have norris in your party for the next, oh, hour or so... blieve me, you won't get anywhere without him. talk to the soldier walking around, then enter the bar. the barmaid opens the back room for you. enter a secret room by walking into the back left corner. karsh and zoah are hiding out back there. after karsh tells the story of how they found general viper in fort dragonia, + that the general basically let out the whole story in his sleep. norris also gets ragged on, but karsh gives you the tear of hate. choose for zoah to join. go down the main steps in termina, and the other norris is there. he gets pretty surprised and confused by the current company you're keeping: "That man behind you! He is Dragoon Deva Zoah! You were in the middle of taking him into custody, sir?" "...?!!" "You are... me!!" Laugh at his dumb ass, and hear the report that grobyc has arrived at the manor. norris also invites you back to the manor to talk this whole thing over. (P.D.: if you do *not* have norris in your party, you will not be able to enter viper manor, and you *do* have to rescue riddel, who is being held captive there...) take zappa to zappa's, and they talk about the rainbow shell, but they can't forge it (yet). switch zappa out, and take norris and zoah to viper manor.
Viper Manor Occupied -- Another World
the guards let you in. find norris in the parlor and after hearing your story he decides to help, and gives you the prison key. He also tells you that you can enter through the sewers. but first things first: take zoah to his room, put him in the front of the party, and have him open the chest. you recieve his lv.7 toss&spike tech! enter the trap room on the lower floor. go to the pillar all the way in the back on the left. open the hidden panel and hit the switch. take the decor shield off the wall and put it on the man-o-war that's missing one. lynx's physical attacks take out the first two, and holylight takes care of the rest (much easier now than it would've been earlier on in the game, plus the guard standing in front of the panel's gone, duh). now move the one statue that's out of place into its niche to open the secret door. one chest is viper's venom, and the other's a rainbow shell. go down the hallway to the other wing, and enter the sewers through the hatch in the floor.
Viper Manor Sewers -- Another World
enter the water and get swept away by the current. norris remarks that there should be a control somewhere that regulates the current. step onto the 1rst platform (there's a humour in the chest in the back). get off the platform and go all the way offscreen right, and all the way down. shake the bars to scare the bug off the chest, who knocks the chest into the water. go back, and up to the top of the screen. on the platform knock the barrel into the water. go back to the first platform (if you knocked this barrel off first, you're gonna have to do it again...) and knock the other barrel into the water. run across the barrels and up the stairs. tighten the valve. go back, get off the platform on the right side, and head all the way around to the top left corner. get the ... (oooh, lucky you!!!) (no, it's not mutherphukin mythril, now leave me alone!!!) it's denadorite. get on the platform and climb up the ladder. you end up in the prison basement. climb the stairs, go down the hallway, and enter the kitchen. re-enter the sewers from the grate in the kitchen. into the water with you! quick, into the top entrance! kill off that damn spearfisher wit a coupla infernos, and get the magic seal in the chest. take note of the amoeba next to it, cuz it's luccia's lv.7 tech...!!! now for the lower entrance (hey, if you miss either of these entrances, you're gonna have to swim your ass back around, so don't miss!!!). go around, and down the stairs. head up and left, then up, and right, and tighten the valve. go back, down, left, up, and right (yes, back into the water... got a problem with that??? geeze, lynx's part cat, + *he's* not even complaining...). down this channel's some steps. go up them and turn right. at the top of the screen is a nimble. go back down the steps, into the channel, climb up the ladder, open the valve, and walk through the newly-opened channel, and... what the hell is that thing?!?!?!
roachester: innate blue, techs: jitterbug, bugkamikaze
this guy's relatively easy. three infernos, or two infernos, a firepillar, and a magmaburst are enough to have him flop over onto his back, feet waving in the air.

Viper Manor Occupied -- Another World
the left cell's empty, unless you didn't recruit glenn, in which case he's n there, asleep. man, he's an even heavier sleeper than *i* am, and i've slept through two tornados, a hurricane, a bunch of earthquakes... okae, okae, i'll shut up already!!! (sheeze) the middle cell's some random guy, who ignores your knocking. now, the right cell: climb up, and fargo's grumbling to himself in there. damn, you knock hard! he practically falls off the bed, then moves it. norris gives him the key, and he goes off to free the other prisoner(s). oooh oooh oooh! (tip: switch frickin zoah out of your party... or norris, but u'll have a helluvatime... oh nevermind, do what you want... the point is, switch harle into your party, not for this fight especially, but for the next battle, + this is the only chance you'll get to switch her in). save your game, and enter the door.
hell's cook: innate red, tech: spiceoflife (heals self)
this is quite an easy fight. lynx + harle's techs do quite a bit of damage to the possessed cook. have them both use as many black elem.'s as you can. sunshower and earthquake are okae, but they don't do as much damage, but hey, every little bit helps, right??? try throwing in an iceblast somewhere.
orcha returns to normal, and feels bad for what he has done. orcha joinedCHA party! the scene switches to the main hallway, where norris is helping riddel escape. he refuses to join you, but tells you to come back to the manor sometime. riddel also invites you back to hermit's hideaway. well, you can't leave yet, so you might as well go upstairs, right? uh oh. well, hell, after fighting orcha, 3 frickin porre soldiers aren't gonna be too much trouble... um..., that is, *they* might not be, but look who's called in to fight after you beat them: "grobyc-takes-orders-only-from-those-who-are-stronger. you-are-strong-but-grobyc-is-stronger. show-grobyc-your-skill."
grobyc: innate black, techs: rocketfist, haircutter
yes, this is a *very* hard fight. this is about when i got the idea of healing myself in battle (smart, aren't i??? haha, shut up). yeah, after being defeated by the same frickin boss 3X's in a row, you start wonderin if maybe those cure elements you've been piling up are actually useful in ways other than using them after battles??? newayz... hit him with holylight, then meteorite (in norris' lv.4 slot), then have harle immediately cast moonshine, to protect your party. grobyc probably already hit you with rocketfist, but now he'll more than likely counter with his devastating all-party-member tech haircutter. even with moonshine, it still takes off about 80HP from each party member (still better than about 200HP each, right???). sunshower, lunairetic, still got that photonbeam allocated on lynx's lv.7 slot??? (we should hope so)... grobyc's probably cast healall on himself. use recoverall on yourself when he does. if he casts vigora, you're *really* screwed, *esp.* if he casts strengthen. by now you know that he hits *hard*, and vigora allows him to hit you 6-8 times in a row, and takes off about 80HP each time... hit him with earthquake, and another lv.4 meteorite and he should start sagging. get him with spiralray and feralcats, and/or freefall to finish it.
after defeating grobyc, the porre sergeant goes for the other robot. damn, he's just having sooo much bad luck with machinery today, in't he???
guillot: innate yellow, tech: hotedge
he's not incredibly hard to beat. actually, you'll be surprised at how easy it is. freefall and a lv.5 aeroblaster kicks his tin can butt. oh no, it's still alive! (so what) okae okae, fine, run to the library, you chicken! yeah yeah yeah, up the stairs, and fight him again. this time he's a bit harder, but not too difficult, either... and you get a pretty pretty mythril piece after each time you beat him!!! (doesn't that make you hate the thing even more???) belthasar, the prophet of time, tells you to climb the ladder to the top floor. "it will never be able to make it up here." shut up, norris, you fool! it's climbing the chandelier! and... oh, hi, grobyc... what the?! fine, you go do that... and here comes the porre soldiers again. dammit, don't break that window, it's glenn's favorite!!!... damn you. alright, fine. see if *i* help you ever again... just kidding! (oh, so the stablekeep jumps in to help, doesn't he? (damn you gonjo) fine! i can see when i'm not wanted!) yeah, see if... oooh, stampeeedddeee... dodge, grobyc, dodge! grobyc-joined-your-party. leave, and once on the world map remove all elements and items from harle. you can keep her in your party (for now)... re-enter viper manor (you *need* norris in your party for this!!!), and fidn the other norris in the parlor again. he gives you norris' lv.7 topshot! outside, enter the well, get attacked by a couple of gloops that flatten out with just one or two blows, and get the deluge out of the chest. on the top floor, head right. the cyborg that used to be guarding the entrance
is gone. enter, and cross to the tower. read the inscription in the back.
move the statues into the niches, and open the chest from behind. read the
note from solt and peppor. go first to marbule and buy trap elements from
baby g of bro's shop (the guy standing near the pool, not the guy n the
pool), esp. trap earthquake and trap thundastorm, but buy three of each
trap elem., xcept frogprince, since you already have it.
Isle of the Damned -- Another World
take karsh with you. if you don't remember the way click here. in the back burned-out door is skelly's mixed bones, in the front is an
eyeball (*shudder* ewww...). follow the same path here as in the other isle
of the damned to get to the last area. there's a revenge elem. where inferno
was. enter the middle cave. karsh experiences a flashback, and then you
fight solt and peppor... again. (+ this time they'r serious, but hell, if
i can beat em with lynx, karsh, and norris (norris minus all elems. xcept
his lv.3 + 5 techs, that is), and hardly any green elems. btween us...)
solt and peppor: innate yellow, tech=crosscut (red)
set a trap for earthquake. after solt casts this he'll either do another
earthquake later, or just go right into thundastorm, which he'll do anyway,
so set a trap for that, since it's a better elem. than earthquake.
after you beat them they see the error of their ways, karsh learns axiomatic,
and they give you dario's memento pendant
Shadow Forest -- Another World
only go here if you didn't recruit nikki. go to the cave where you recruited
funguy (under the waterfall), and read the note to recieve skelly's angry scapula!
he's now (finally) complete!
Termina -- Another World
enter skelly's house. the clock chimes, and skelly walks in. leave the
house, and re-enter. talk to skelly again to recruit him. skelly became
the life of your party! put orcha in your party, and go to home world's
arni. talk to his brother belcha behind the counter. orcha tries his bra's
new recipe... orcha recieved dinnerguest!
Hermit's Hideaway -- Another World
use icebreath on the patch of ground that's burnt (a window'll pop up when you walk on it... it's the one near the entrance). enter the burned-out hut.
"Halt!" if radius is in your party, they talk for awhile, but whatever. karsh and marcy smooth things over anyway. the three remaining devas are there. talk to marcy in the side room and she says she's sorry. if harle's in your party she makes fun of her and marcy gets mad, and then you all get reprimanded by radius. talk to riddel. riddel joined your party! (+ she's right, she's pretty useless in battle, plus her techs are only healing and stuff like that, no attacks) choose to rest the night there. dark serge and kid attack! you fool, don't trust her! oh, now she cut you... smart one, aren't you??? alright, well, it seems the shack's surrounded... oh, hi fargo, whoa!!! everyone ends up safely aboard the s.s. invincible. after some reminiscing about kid (oooh, is someone falling for the dangerous kid??? haha, psycho...), go below decks. general viper joined your party! fargo decides that he owes you for saving his life... twice... fargo joined yer party! "Waaaaaait!" marcy, like, joined your party! and karsh, not wanting to be left out... karsh joined your party! "a mere thank you will be fine..." hey hey hey... how bout puttin grobyc in your party??? (remember, he hits *hard*) time to find dark serge, eh? onwards, to the sea of eden! (what, again???)
The Pearly Gates/The Sea of Eden -- Another World
hmmm... seems the way's blocked. ask harle what's going on, and she explains that you need the dragon relics to enter... but that you cannot enter in the form that you are in... yes, somehow you must change yourself back into serge. "ze dragon tear, iz all i can tell you..." um, and, yeah... not the broken one you've got with you. she also asks you a question, but no matter what you answer, she permanently leaves your party, after explaining tears to starky onboard the s.s. invincible, taking any elements and items she had equipped with her (see why i said take away all her stuff before???).
Sky Dragon Isle -- Another World
yeah, he's back. go up and talk to him. he says that after you've obtained the blessings of the other dragons to come to him. onwards, to opassa beach! go search out your boat.
Guldove -- Another World
as you arrive, there's a bit of a disturbance. porre soldiers have invaded the town, and orlha is
driving them off single-handedly!
orlha: innate blue, techs: multipunch, punchdrunk
cast trap deluge just in case. she shouldn't be too hard to take down, as long as you don't have a
red innate char. in your party.
after you save her from certain imprisonment, she still doesn't believe that you're you, but as a
sign of good faith she gives you her sister's sapphire brooch, and tells you to come back when you've
regained your true form. go to the dragon shrines and talk to direa. show her the tear of hate.
she gives you the dragon emblem with instructions to talk to the shrine maiden in the other world.
S.S. Zelbess -- Home World
take fargo with you, and talk to the other fargo. he gets the ship moving
to marbule. now... sit back, and enjoy the show!
after the show, time to kick some ass in marbule!!! fargo broke the seal
of invincible! (allocate fargo + orcha's lv.7 techs, + give fargo frogprince).
Marbule -- Home World
kill off all the lagoonates in the first area, on both sides of the island
(don't forget to check on the right side all the way at the bottom for some),
and work your way to the back and into the cave. when you kill off the last
one "a dragon's cry was heard in the far-off distance"... yeah, ash was
right about the dreamer being some "gnarly dragon"... but you don't have
to worry about him just yet, you only have, oh... about four before him...
Guldove -- Home World
go to the dragon shrines. apparently, they don't like outsiders. show the
guard the dragon emblem, and a voice issues forth from the tent. enter
the shrine. apparently, steena's the new shrine maiden here in home world's
guldove. talk to her. she already knows your mission, and is quite strict
and stern with you. she will only lend you the dragon tear after you get
the blessing from the six dragon gods. great...

make sure you take fargo with you against all of the dragons, cuz he can
steal some kewl armor
Off to Water Dragon Isle, in Search of the Dragon Blue
Water Dragon Isle -- Home World
AUGH!!! more lagoonates?!?!?! (no, you *don't* haveta kill em *all* off...
but if you insist... the water dragon's in
the same ol place. tell her you seek the dragon gods' blessing.
Water Dragon: innate blue, tech: tsunamibeam
the water dragon isn't too hard to beat. cast trap deluge as soon as you
can, and right after she casts it. she casts deluge about three times in
this fight. a coupla inferno's should leave her sagging. have fargo use
his lv.3 tech pillage right before she does, or immediately after, so that
he steals the blue plate.
you recieve *bluewhale and the blue relic after the fight.
Earth Dragon Isle -- Home World
talk to the guys, and you learn that they don't know where the entrance is.
walk onto the sand, and one of them yells at you, saying that it's quicksand.
go in anyway. the chests in this area only contain mythril... do you need
any more of that stuff?!?!?! at the bottom of the screen is a rockroach
that won't budge. turn around, and head up the ladder on the right. jump
into the sand boil. talk to the captain again, and he figures out how to
enter. he promises to remove the obstruction. leave, and come back. talk
to the captain again, and find out that they've removed the rockroach.
enter through the quicksand again. go down, and talk to the guy who's
where the rockroach was. he gives you the explosive. there's actually
denadorite in this area!!! *yay*!!! on the right, set the explosive under
the rockroach, and watch him soar. he blocks one of the sand boils. go to the left, talk to the guy, and
attack the rockroach when he's at the edge of the cliff. push him over to block the other sand boil.
climb down to the bottom, and attack the other rockroach. push him onto the other
boil, and a new one appears. jump into this one, and enter the cave.
walk to the pool. hmmm... seems there's nobody home... or is there??? bombs away!!!
talk to the earth dragon, and answer that you seek the dragon gods' blessing.
Earth Dragon: innate yellow
cast trap earthquake. have fargo steal the yellow plate early on. this
shouldn't be too hard, either
you recieve *thundasnake, and the yellow relic
Hydra Marshes -- Home World
if you didn't save kid, reffer to the other hydra marshes home world section,
up until after the wingapede fight. fall into the hole, and leave the cave. leave the hydra marshes,
and come back. repeat process (i.e., fight the beeba, but this time you get the ancient fruit).
talk to the other beeba in the next area, and he explains how to use the
beeba flute + ancient fruit 2 call the wingapede. call him there, and he takes you to gaea's navel...
Gaea's Navel -- Home World
as soon as you land, leah temporarily joined-um party! (put her in immediately...
not only is her innate opposite that of most of the wildlife in the area,
but her hp's higher than norris'!!! go left. whenever you encounter a prehisteric,
kill it first. the stupid things' tech has the same effect as the willowisps'
attacks on the isle of the damned... = bad!!! don't forget to look in the trees
for stuff (leah's tree has a green brooch... oh, + watch out for the pterodacts
that attack you in the trees...). after you get some denadorite, go back
to the record of FATE and see what you can forge (do the stone mail first,
then the weapons). after killing off all the wildlife, you're back where
you started. exit left, save your game, and re-enter right again. a sudden
hush falls over the clearing. no, that's not the green dragon...
tyrano: innate red, tech: crunchout
he's accompanied by a pterodact, but don't worry too much about him. concentrate
on attacking tyrano, and you can have leah attack the stupid pterodact. a
coupla deluges'll should do the trick, if not, fargo's invincible and/or
cannonballs should finish them off.
after the fight, another *louder* roar is heard, and leah runs off to
investigate. *this* is the green dragon... excuse me?! lunch???
Green Dragon: innate green, techs: badbreath, toxicbreath (both all party-members)
cast trap carnivore as soon as you can, and have fargo steal the green plate... right after he casts greenfield,
he casts carnivore, so if he casts greenfield, and you haven't done trap
carnivore, use any other color element, even if it's lv.1, cause carnivore
takes off a *lot* of hp. he does this about 3X's, mayb four. right after
you trap carnivore, hit him with somethin to change the field effect, or if
not the breath attacks'll be *bad*. watch out, cause they cause random
status effects (i've ended up with one char. havin red, white, blue, and black,
another with blue, white, and green, and another with yellow, white, black,
and blue status effects... not good when you're trying to cast elements on
the big fat bast....). casts lots of earthquakes, and thundastorm, if you
have it.
you get *genie, the green relic, and leah officially joined-um party!
Mount Pyre -- Another World
this place should be frozen over already. if not, then either you're in
the wrong world, + didn't realize it, or else it melted again... whatever...
just use icebreath. around the lavaboy, past the catburglar, and up the ladder.
(i hope you've been saving after every fight??? cuz, if you live in a place
like i do, the lights go out constantly, and you end up having to fight the dragons
about 7X's (like i did last night, stupid storm), which will not make you
happy))... newayz, kill off the dumb mutt that runs into you. take the
right turn, and if the other one doesn't have his back to you, you'll have
to kill him too. use icebreath on these slides, and slide down the left
one. enter the tunnel, and climb up into the cave. here, you can walk up
the magma, attempt to dogde the lavaboy to get the pendragon sigil a, then
run to the landing, use up about 50capsules curing yourself (that is, if
you didn't get killed by the lavaboy, cause your hp's shot to hell), get
the poultice cap after defeating the hotdoggity, and go back and freeze the
lava... or just bypass that whole thing and brave the 3 or 4hotdoggity's
that run at you. enter the cave in the back, and talk to the fire dragon.
Fire Dragon: innate red, techs: firebreath (all party-members), fierybreath
just hit him hard, and power up all the way. after the first round, the
fire dragon evolves. eeek!!! have fargo steal the red plate (if he fails,
run away, leave the cave, re-enter, and try again until you do). yeah yeah,
it gets annoying after awhile... cast trap inferno, and cast lots of deluges,
and other high-lv. elems. (like earthquake + carnivore). as with all the
other dragons, elems. of the same color will heal the dragon, so avoid casting
inferno.
you recieve *salamander and the red relic. onwards to marbule! (don't
worry, only 2more to go... *sigh*)
Marbule -- Another World
head to the cave in the back (if you see the sage of marbule, he wonders
how the hell the black dragon's awake without their song...). newayz...
talk to the black dragon. he seems to think you'll be fun excersize.
black dragon: innate black, techs: darkbreath, gravitybomb (all party-members)
using white elems.'ll only result in him casting anti-white, but what the
hey, ey? (...) um, yeah... cast holylight, steal the black plate (VERY IMPORTANT!!!),
and 2meteorshowers (the trick is to have had these allocated *at least*
one level above where they should be in your chars.' grids). now all your
characters can't use white elems., but the black dragon's b-n wastin his
time castin antiwhite. set a trap for freefall... he'll either cast this
once, or twice, so be ready. he'll also cast gravitybomb, which hits like
a, well... bomb. (...) hit him with high-lv. elems. (carnivore, deluge,
inferno, earthquake, blah blah blah), and white elems. when you can use
them again...
he disappears after giving you *grimreaper and the black relic.
Sky Dragon Isle -- Another World
talk to the sky dragon, and he commends you.
Sky Dragon: innate white, techs: whitebreath, nullstate
after doing some damage to the sky dragon, he counteracts with nullstate,
which causes all attacks on the dragon to have less than the desired effect.
steal the white plate, and cast trap ultranova, just in case. if he casts
magnify, hit him with freefall or blackhole, just to get his attention.
after a bit, nullstate should've worn off, so pummel him with black elems.,
+ lynx's foreverzero.
you recieve *saints and the white relic.
Guldove -- Home World
talk to steena again. steena joined your party! and gives you the dragon tear.
stock up on white elems. n the shop
Forbidden Isle -- Home World
put riddel in your party, equip her with the black plate, and forge her a
denadorite rod. plus, allocate her *lots* of white elems., esp. holylight.
behind viper manor is a tiny island with smoke billowing out. land on the
island, and enter the cabin. (if you see solt and peppor inside, you're
not on home world...) talk to the man sitting in the chair... dario?!?! he
apparently's got amnesia, but riddel shows him the memento pendant. karsh and radius come in to try and help dario to remember.
uh oh... dario's now possessed by the evil sword masamune... karsh recalls what happened to dario in another world, explaining why the masamune chose dario as it's new owner.
you end up outside, and now you have to face dario in battle...
the fourth dragoon deva, dario: innate black, techs: dashandgash, sonicsword, conductarod
glenn's brother has his lv.3 + 5 techs, as black! one of these can leave
you with 1hp left (i've c-n it happen...). i've heard some really weird
ways to "win" this fight out there, but i mean, come on... in all seriousness,
is there any way that you can *just* have riddel attack dario??? all of
your characters have to attack him at some point, the game won't let you
do otherwise... then there's the idea of having riddel do all the element
attacks, while the rest of the party members cure her (which she doesn't
need) and just stand around looking pretty... how bout this: start off as
you always do... as soon as all your chars. are powered up, have riddel cast
holylight (highest lv.). more than likely, you've already been hit with
dashandgash, which doesn't do too much... after riddel casts holylight,
dario'll more than likely counter with conductarod, which he uses the most
often. it'll probably hit riddel, cuz she hit him w/ holylight. since she
has the black plate, it won't harm her (according to all other sources,
she'll need to be healed during the battle, but i've fought dario about 11X;s
by now, and she's only needed healing once, cuz i did somethin stupid)...
even if dario happened to physically attack riddel, this magic attack'll
heal her, cuz the black plate absorbs the black tech, using it to heal the
wearer. it'd probably b a good idea to have grobyc as your other party
member, hence 2black innates, + the only white innate's wearin the black
plate. have riddel attack every other turn, therefore almost guaranteeing
that all the black techs (usually conductarod)'ll hit her. if he hits
one of your other party members, quickly cure them, unless they're dead,
of course... i hope riddel's got your two revives allocated???
after the fight, lynx's sea swallow fuses with the masamune to become the
mastermune!!!
Fort Dragonia -- Home World
use the mount pyre another world section to deal with
navigating this area.
with the dragon tear you no longer have to go through
the whole fort, disactivating all of the crystals (altho you probably could
if you really really wanted too... plus, there's all those goodies!!!) aight
then, if you really really want to... red section goodies: two nostrums, a
denadorite, and volcano, green: lotsa denadorite + nostrums, + a tornado,
blue: iceberg, yellow: thundastorm. use the fort
dragonia another world section of this walkthrough. just press the back
button on your browser when you're done, and enter the central area. uh oh.
dark serge: innate black, techs: glidehook, feralcats
just when you thought there wasn't a single boss in this whole fort, along
comes *this* joker again... and toting lynx's lv.3 + 5 techs that you've sooo
enjoyed using up to now... huh. well, equip yourself with the black plate, and
allocate yourself lots of white elems. fortunately, if you beat dario, you
really have hardly anything to worry about. dario's one of *the* *hardest*
fights in this whole game. and, in all fairness, lynx's techs do damage
to dark serge, so there, ñññaaa... (okae, don't look at me like that) hey,
don't get *too* cocky there, buddy, cuz dark serge has command of a lot of
high-lv. elems....
take the elevator down, and place the big egg in the central incubator.
draggy is born!!! awww... the poor thing is looking for his brothers and
sisters... *sniff* + he thinx lynx's his mother... uh... yeah, i can see
the resemblance there... draggy joined yourrr parrrty! take the elevator
up to the top floor (2nostrums, + anti-white), and use the
teleporter to reach the floating level. remove all your elements from your
grid, and all your equipped accessories, cuz there's a small chance that
some'll end up missing after this (baaad!!!). steena appears, saying that
you must enter alone. place the whole dragon tear (*not* the tear
of hate, mind you) on the pedestal. you get the history of the world taught to
you by some light spark. *boom* gawd, put some clothes on!!! (well,
at least serge got his body back, eh?) walk outside. time to get revenge
on that bastard lynx!!! (or serge...) (or dark serge...) OR WHATEVER!!!
* here's some extra stuff you can do now:
- take starky to homeworld's arni and talk to the fisherman with the big fish. sparky
gets his plasma pistol out of the fish.
- on the s.s. zelbess, enter the restaurant and talk to miki again. miki joined your party!
+ go to marbule and talk to the demi-human in the back cave (where the black dragon was)
and buy the master hammer for 10,000g. equip it on zappa.
- take him and glenn to another world's
termina. talk to the churros vender. not only do the churros restore your hp, but you find a
rainbow shell inside, too! (owie...)
- talk to the other zappa and your zappa learns how to forge
rainbow shells after forging the rainbow axe.
- on the seashell island, the einlanzer resonates, and glenn and his brother
come to an understanding, and glenn has succeeded the einlanzer! (with two of them, he now becomes
one of your heaviest hitters!!!).
- with general viper and greco in party, enter termina (home)'s bar, and talk to the barmaid. she opens the back door. enter the secret room the same way you did to find karsh and zoah in another world. inspect the flag. viper recieved FlagBearer! (you also get a dragoon's glory... tip: you can leave, re-enter, and inspect the wall as many times as you want to get more of viper's lv.7 tech (yes, he can have more than one allocated), and as many dragoon glory's as you want!!! (give serge, grobyc, and glenn each 3of these, and watch the monsters fall!!!) on to the shrines: talk to the lady in this world's version of greco's hut. apparently, she's been visited by ghetz's ghost. greco and ghetz talk, and greco learned GraveDigger!
- back in guldove (another world) enter the bar and show orlha the sapphire brooch. orlha joined your party! take her to guldove home world and talk to doc. she finally gets to meet her twin sister, tia. beware, this is sad... but the sapphire brooch becomes the blue brooch, and orlha inherits SisterHoods!
- with poshul in party, go to hermit's hideaway (home world), and inspect the plant growing where you used ice breath on the burnt-out patch of ground. serge can't pull it out, but poshul can. turnip forced his way into your party!
- take neofio to sky dragon isle (if you haven't recruited neofio, go to another world and click here, read the viper manor + hydra marshes parts, then skip down to the next tip and come back to this one afterwards). try stopping the monster from eating the butterfly. the butterfly screams: "Aiiiii!!" go up the mountain, talk to the guy to get the our favorite martian frame, and go back down the stairs. the monster has eaten the butterfly. have neofio go up to the monster. after pressing x a coupla times, the monster releases the butterfly. others come and join it, and neofio recieves BamBamBam!
- go to the isle of the damned (home) with steena in your party. have her read garai's epitaph, and she gets her lv.7 tech, GaraiShadow.
- take van and skelly to termina. enter the bar and talk to the barmaid. skelly remembered OnARoll! take van to the version of his house, and talk to the other van, then talk to van's father gogh twice. the first time, he gives van a bigger piggy bank. back in home world's termina, have van talk to his father again, then enter van's room, and put up to 700g in his piggy bank (increases power of his lv.7 tech, PiggyBoink)
- take turnip and neofio to viper manor, another world, to the pool where neofio was born. turnip enters the pool. incredibly, turnip mastered VegOut! use the record of FATE in the dragon stables to put luccia in your party. enter the sewers by way of the grate in the kitchen. remember where that amoeba-thingy was??? go there. luccia recieved TestAmeba!
- take draggy to fossil valley (another world) to the large dragon skull... turns out that was his motherrr... but he realizes that he has friends, and he learns BigBreath!
The Pearly Gates/The Sea of Eden
go to one of the FATE distortions and press x. you have to go to each of these islands and touch the floating pyramids that spiral away afterwards, altho it really doesn't matter in what order you go in... the last island you visit = the innate of the boss you're about to battle, but no matter its innate, it still has command of lv.6 elems. of all colors.

hit it with lots of high-lv. elems., and it shouldn't give you too much trouble
after defeating the vita, the wall around chronopolis is lowered.

enter, and read the inscription on the statue. wander over to the ghosts on the right and overhear their conversation. talk to them again, and then each individually to learn some more information. head down the hall and some robot drops down from the ceiling.

equip grobyc with the white plate (if he's in your party). hit it with lots of high level elems., esp. freefall + blackhole
take a left, go under the walkway, and on the right side in the back is a chest containing a yellow brooch. continue into the next area. there's a nostrum in the cupboard, and enter the sewers through the floor panel in that same area. go all the way to the left and activate the robot with the control panel. if the robot falls into the water, don't worry, you have, like, 20million. on the left is a white brooch, a cureall in the back, and up the platform in the back and to the right is the switch. hit it, quit the robot, and hit the switch on your side to extend the other half of the platform. climb the ladder and use the computer to open the door behind you. in the third area exit screen-left, and talk to the ghost on the pier under the light. back in the third area go through the right door. get sprigg's forget-me-not pot from under the stairs. on the second floor be careful going through the red laser sensors, cuz an aeroguard pops out of the floor hatch. the back door is locked, so go through the bottom of the screen. in the hallway enter the doorway all the way on the right. talk to the ghost on the map for info on arni. the back-left computer releases the door lock. go back to the door and enter. you enter a room with one hatch out of five open. the "hatch" on the left with the wheel on it is where you enter the code:

you get recharge. if grobyc is in your party, open the trunk on the left to get his lv.7 tech, strongarm. use the elevator to get to the third floor. in the right door talk to the ghosts for info. in the door there is a combot guarding a hellbound in a chest. you dcide if it's worth fighting him for it.

enter the left door. talk to the ghost. in the back are two computers: the one on the left has info on lavos, and the one on the right has info on humans and reptites. through the back door is a rainbow shell in a chest. take the elevator to the fourth floor and enter the right door. learn about lucca's theory of time-travel, and they say they cannot start without the chief. go through the door on the left and down the stairs. talk to the ghost to find out that the chief is on the pier (i.e., the ghost you talked to before). get the magnify out of the chest. enter the door, cuz you can't keep going down the stairs because there's a field barrier in the way. use the elevator to get to the first floor, and talk to the chief on the harbor again. follow him back up to the 4th floor, and enter the left door. learn about how FATE controls both worlds (and other stuff). fight the combot on the left to get the card key out of the chest. use the computer in the back to get a big phreaked out. use the elevator to get to the basement. fight one of the combots to get by. use the control panel thingy left of the door. project kid???
enter the door and marvel at the frozen flame. kid is on the ground. lynx appears and says that he put her soul to sleep. he then shows his true form...
FATE: innate black, techs: heatray, darkenergy
equip serge with the black plate. FATE immediately starts a countdown:
5: Diminish (cuts damage made by element attacks by your party by half)
4: Gravitonne (all-party members)
3: heatray (all-party members)
2: freefall (one char.)
1: gravityblow X's 2 (both 2 one char.)
0: darkenergy (all-party members)
concentrate on physical attacks, wait for FATE to turn the field effect all black, then have grobyc use *grimreaper, then immediately have your other party member (not serge) use their hightest-level element of any other color *but* black (don't leave the field effect as all-black, or FATE's attacks'll *hurt*). keep using high-level elems. (xcept serge). have serge just attack w/ physical hits, until right after dark energy, then cast holylight in the highest lv., or flying arrow. if she's not dead yet, then one more high-lv. elem. should do the trick
lynx disappears, finally defeated. kid miraculously wakes up and goes after the frozen flame.
harle appears, and begs her to stop, then falls to the floor. the dragons notice the destruction of FATE, and rise to take their revenge on human-kind. sky dragon isle rises to its true form (terra tower). harle awakens and goes through the flame and into the heavens. kid faints again. all the dragons join together to form the initial stage of the time devourer and they fly to terra tower.
back on the s.s. invincible your party discusses this new turn of events. kid is in a coma in radius' place.
Divine Dragon Falls -- Another World
this is behind that blue pond-thing on the main island of arni. enter the cave in the back, then head to the cavern on the far left. place the tear of hate and the tear of love on the pedestals. they join together and create the chrono cross!!! (only can be used against the final boss).
Hermit's Hideaway/Orphanage on Fire -- Another World
talk to radius, then try talking to kid. masa and mune wake up, think she's princess schala... then decide not to help her. doreen comes by and smacks them both upside the head, and they decide to channel their powers into the chrono cross (the initial form of the time egg) to send serge and party back in time.
ct veterans: recognize anything??? gato seems to be out of commission, but he tells you that kid and lucca are in the back room. defeat the lavaboy, then check the table and clock for kids. tell them you're here to help. they give you a rainbow shell and a nostrum, and tell you to get the ice gun. enter the next area. defeat the lavaboy and check the plant for a kid, who tells you the lay-out of the cabin. enter the kitchen and get the stardust cape. defeat the lavaboy to exit. go up the right staircase. defeat the lavaboy and exit onto the balcony. defeat the lavaboy threatening the kid. go up the other staircase and grab the ice gun from the back wall (this is why you didn't get the ice gun earlier... say buh-bye 2 your 3rd party-member). check the floor for memos. there should be three memos and a note (not including the one w/ the ice gun). the note says something about a view of space. the memos say something about coming close to something, and another one says something else, but the important one is the one about the "code for a new generation" and it mentions lucca's mother... what was her name again??? ... what did that kid say about the other room??? yeah, anyway... on the balcony is a diva dress. re-enter the first room and re-defeat the lavaboy. at the machine in the back enter lucca's mother's name (lara), by pressing L2, triangle, R2, triangle, to recieve kid's lv.7 tech, hotshot. re-enter granny lara's old bedroom, defeat the lavaboy... again... and remove the floor panel in the upper-right corner. down the hall is a doorway into another hallway. say buh-bye to your 2nd party-member. use the ice gun on the blaze on the left (note: IF ANYBODY CAN FIGURE OUT HOW TO GET TO THAT DAMNED LAVABOY BEHIND THAT BLAZE, *PLEASE* EMAIL ME AND TELL ME!!!). in the room, defeat the lavaboy and extinguish *all* the flames with the ice gun (yes, the last ones on the right are *hard* to get 2, but you'll get it eventually). enter the last room. kid is on the floor, and lynx and harle make one last appearance (*grrr*). serge drags kid out, who's trying to get at... well, nothing, cuz lynx and harle have disappeared. outside, kid is stunned. no matter what you answer, you leave her... and return to your own time, where kid is alive and well. now, to find a way into terra tower!!!
El Nido Archipielago -- Another World
take kid and starky with you. allocate many red elements, since this is the only thing that'll reduce this boss' hp. go down to the bottom level, and around to the ship. ewww... what the hell is that thing???
Royal Jelly: innate blue
this isn't a hard fight, if you have kid with you, and equipped with *salamander... or just her tech skills. the annoying thing is, no matter how many times you hit the bast., 0hp results every time... but your grid rises, nevertheless... plus, it'll be easy to turn the field effect red, since the royal jelly rarely casts anything, and if he does, it's just nimble. hit him with *salamander, and this royal jelly's on toast.
enter the ship, and starky's overjoyed to find everything in operational order. he finds an anti-gravitational device to put on your ship, and the scene switches back to chronopolis at kid's suggestion. now, onwards to terra tower!!!
