Well this is a good question. I'm not to sure since I have a lot of things going on right now. I am contemplating a v8 engine but that would most likely mean a new frame as well along with new transmision, transfercase and probably a ford 9" rear with moser axles. Now you can see why I havn't actually started on it yet. LOL. I am going to see if I can make an adapter for the V8 that I want so it will bolt up to the stock tranny. If that's possible I'll probably do this swap soon and just have the tranny built up some so it can handle the extra power. Then I'd go ahead and swap in a ford 9" rear with disc brakes. That would give more options for lockers as well. I just need to do some more thinking before I start this next phase though.
