A few close friends have met up in the library, after the wedwink. Some are planning their futures together.
Al and Troubie are wedwinked, they are on the chaise longue. Buddee is leaning on the chaise longue, just in front of him is his wedwink, Angel. Billy and Firefly are the cats in the foreground.
The two couples are chatting about their wedwinkings and Angel asked Troubie if she minded not having a big wedwinking. "Oh no," replies Troubie "I am just so very happy just being wedwinked to my darling Al". "Well, it's a lot less work that is for sure". Buddee puts in pragmatically to Al "But I don't think we had better let the girls hear you say that". replies Al with a laugh "They would be most upset, its all roses and orange blossom with them, though," he says in a more reflective tone, "Troubie was just great about eloping, not a word of complaint, in fact she enjoyed herself immensly."
The boys chat away and Troubie with a smile says to Angel "Look at the two cuties, aren't they sweet." "Yes, I wonder if there will be wedwink bells soon". replies Angel smiling as the little Page Boy Billy and his date FireFly snuggle up to each other, totally obilivious of their surroundings.
Moke and Mysty are soon to be wedwinked and were pleased to see how some other cats coped with the occasion.
"Moke, I just loved Pinkie's gown, I adore the Victoriana look". "I think it would suit you my dear, though I love the dress you are wearing right now". Moke smiles and adds "Couldn't you wear that for our Wedwinking?"
Mysty looks at Moke slightly aghast "Moke! Honestly, how could you suggest such a thing". Moke, somewhat abashed, tries to rectify matters "Well, I meant errrh, that is to say ummm, oh dear, I mean, well, You look so lovely". "Oh Moke, you old flatterer, I know what you mean and thank you, you are such a dear". Mysty smiles "I have though picked up some tips about wedwink preparations and Pinkie said she will help me all she can when we finally start on our wedwinking".
Elizabeth QE2 is talking to Biggie Fries, who is on the sofa. In front of them are Day-Late and Jessie. On the right of the picture are Puffer and Pepe.
"Errrh Elizabeth, was I seeing things at Bandit's Catchelor Pardy, or was that really you dancing in that, ummm errrh rather 'spectacular' way". "Biggie, how could you say such a thing". Elizabeth thinks to herself "Oh dear, I thought he was too nipzed to recognise me, I should have known when the Agency said Australia, it would be Bandit's Pardy". "Well, it did look very much like you Elizabeth". Biggies thinks to himself "I know I was nipzed but I am sure it was her and all the other boys thought so too!.
Rapidly changing the subject Elizabeth says rather loudly "Did you see Freya and Ferny together?". An embarrassed silence falls over everyone. Quickly Pepe says "Oh Elizabeth, where did you buy that lovely dress, such an elegant and original design". Elizabeth preens herself "Well Pepe, I do have my own personal designer". The awkward moment has passed and Pepe turns to her wedwink Puffer "Puffer, I am so happy to be here with you, we get so little time together now". Puffer lightly kisses Pepe on her nose "I know my dear but somehow I shall contrive to slip away so we can be together".
Day-Late, who has eyes for none other than his lovely Jessie smiles and says to her "Jessie, Pinkie was a beautiful bride and the gown you made her was lovely, she looked radiant but to me there isn't a ladycat here who can compare with you".
Jessie blushes "Oh darling, you are the sweetest and most handsome Gentlecat in the world. Didn't Right and Left look handsome though, I was so proud of them and I know they were very excited to act as Ushers".
Day-Late grins "Yes they did look handsome and they behaved themselves very well". The cats all continue to chat quietly amongst themselves, just happy to be together in the peaceful library.
