Some cats and dogs are socialising in another room. They are, from left to right, Shibui, who is with Frenchie (the cat on the sofa). Clancy, the cat, and then quite a few dogs. There is Sandy, the angel dog, who has recently gone to the bridge, she is just in front of the two big dogs, Brownie and Newman. To the right are Bushka, the German Shepherd dog, from the Kadiddies family, then Zeus and Tiger Lily, who are part of Pinkie and Buddee's family, and Oreo.
"Sacre Bleu" exclaims Frenchie to Shibui "I am so happy to have made it to the wedwinking. Bandit's Catchelor Pardy was really fantastic". "Oh Frenchie, you do so love to party and dance, now please don't think you have to stay with me all night, I shall be just fine sitting here and chatting away to my friends".
Clancy looks around the room "hummm he thinks to himself. I wonder if there are any tasty arms to nibble on, I am rather partial to nibbling on unsuspecting ladycats arms".
Just at that moment Tiger Lily suddenly looks up "Oh look, look everyone, Sandy has arrived and she is wearing the most beautiful green dress and wings".
Tiger Lily rushes over to greet her dear friend "Sandy, please tell me, do they always color match your wings?" "Tiger Lily, really is that ALL you can think of, Please pardon my sister, I am so very happy to see you here Sandy, it just wouldn't have been the same without you".
Zeus, still looking shocked, turns to Brownie and Newman for moral support "Girls!" he snorts indignantly "Honestly chaps, all they can think of is fashion". "I know Zeus" says Brownie "Newman and I live with a whole household of them" "And they are all cats too" says Newman "Brownie and I are so glad you are here Zeus as we have someone to talk 'boy stuff' too".
The boys all gather in the corner and can be heard exclaiming about the foibles of girls.
"Oh Bushka, have you met my dear friend Sandy?" Tiger Lily introduces Sandy and Bushka. "Hello Bushka, I am so pleased to meet you and Tiger Lily,in answer to your question, I just have to think and my wings are whatever color I want them to be" Sandy smiles at her friend for she is so happy to see her. "Humph, Zeus thinks I am being rude asking you but you look so so radiant Sandy. Are you happy at the Bridge? "Oh yes, Tiger Lily, the Bridge is a beautiful place and I want all my cats and family to know that I am well and happy and that we will all be together again one day".
Sandy turns and smiles and hugs Shibui and Clancy "Oh my darling cats, I am so happy to see you again" Shibui brushes a tear from her eye "Sandy, we miss you but we know you are well and happy". "Yes me too I am so glad to see you Sandy and errrh, I guess you will be watching out to make sure I don't nibble on anyone." Sandy laughs and laughs, she is so happy!
Just then Oreo who has been sitting quietly listening to all the excited chatter and wondering how he can make his way over to Clancy hears a loud chewing noise coming from under the sofa "Hey Clancy" he calls "Can you hear a strange chewing noise?" Clancy starts and listens "Yes, its coming from under the sofa, what on earth is it?".
Everyone stops and listens and yes, a very loud munching sound is eminating from under the sofa!
Munch, chew, Munch, then a loud PSST is heard!
Oh NO, oh Zeus, FREYA, it HAS to be her, what on earth is she into?" Tiger Lily looks most distracted and as she rushes over to the sofa a loud " Hey Sandy, come over here" is heard!
"Sandy, that is our youngest puppy, oh I am sooooo embarrassed" Tiger Lily is so annoyed for she knows all the naughty things Freya is capable of doing. "Don't get upset Tiger Lily, she is very young still, and between us, I laughed till I cried over her exploits with the Fridge and the roast," says Sandy a huge smile breaking over her face "and erh, I understand you where involved in that incident too". Tiger Lily blushes "Well, I just politely accepted the morsels Freya offered me, that's all".
"Calm down Tiger Lily" Bushka gentle pats her friends shoulder "We were all youngsters once and did naughty things, we all understand, though I wouldn't want to be around when the Ladycat who owns those shoes sees what has happened to them!".
Clancy grins, "Oreo, I just hope she is good looking, I'll distract her with a little nibble". "Well I wouldn't mind asking her to dance with me, that should distract her". Oreo and Clancy turn to Frenchie, "Oh la la, I just love Ladycats" he says with a very French shrug of his shoulders "Once she sees me she will not even think of her chewed up shoes".
All the cats and dogs laugh and Freya decides maybe it is safer to remain under the sofa, she knows just how sharp ladycats' claws can be, she has encountered Pinkies a few times!
