Right now, video compression is the rage. Well for Me at least. Ever download a movie or clip and its like 10 megabytes for about a minute???? I dont know about you, but that really ticks me off. Can't people use some ediquitte before they throw a 20 minute, 300 megabyte simpsons episode on morpheus? COMPRESS IT!

How and What do I compress with you ask?
Divx mpeg-4, and divx 4.0 beta are two of the most popular mpeg encoding techniques as of now. Divx is a codec that takes good quality, high space video and puts it into very good quality, low space video (but puts an *.avi extension on it). Its great for puting videos on a website or putting them on morpheus or limewire. Next, Windows' WMV. wmv is a video format that can be very high quality in very little space. Equal to, if not better then divx. But I havent seen too many .Wmv videos hangin around the web. The same thing can be said about Macintosh's *.mov extension.

1.5 MEGS A MINUTE was hit on 12/24/01 ! Now ur probably wondering what the hell i was doing playin on my comp on christmas eve. but 1.5 is the big news. how you ask? In the divx codec when configuring, there should be a drop down list. pick [one pass-quality based]. then under that choose [slowest]. This works best with a high pentium 3 or pentium 4. try it! it works! [also using this technique with virtual dub or flask mpeg is also highly recommended].

Zeroman's domain, craken's world, and any other site is guarenteed to be 100% genuine. On my page i provide NO remote linking, Broken links, images, or false information. However, Writing a website in raw html can be Very time consuming. I NEVER use programs like front page. I dont believe in them. i think letting a program do the work and then taking the credit is well... fraudelent. (heh).Also, 56k land is getting old, stuff might not be up as soon as i hope in some cases, so bookmark and keep visiting. ZEROMAN...
