This is just a partial list of things that have helped me make the transition from pre-op to post-op: A good blenderSugar free candies CVS multi vitamin (they're tiny!) Benefiber Local support groups A shoulder to cry on Sublingual B-12 Low carb/sugar free cookbooks (A MUST!) Cappuccino maker (Just cuz they're tasty!) Some sort of exercise. For me, it's the following: Healthy Choice Sugar Free Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream Tofu Carbolite products Crystal Light Glennys Slim Carb Bars....yum! Isopure powdered protein...even though I am negligent in my protein shake consumptionRussell Stover and all of his lovely sugar free chocolates....I love you Russell....call me! **smooches** DETOUR Protein bars. Let me tell you...these are the best protein bars around! You won't find a better tasting one on the market. They are a little high in calories (290), but they have 32 grams of protein and they taste like a snickers bar. Seriously. They are so good that both GNC's in my town run out of them quickly, so I had to find another source. I even like them as dessert sometimes. How awesome is that? Sport Cookie by Protosource. These are really good but a little harsh on my tummy, so I eat maybe 1/4 to 1/2 of a cookie at a time. Sport cookie comes in chocolate chip, peanut butter, lemon, banana nut, trail mix and cranberry. My favorite is the chocolate chip so far. The banana nut is also very good - it reminds me of a muffin. Each cookie has approximately 135 calories, 3 gms. of fat, 14g carbohydrates, 5 g of fiber and 15 g of PROTEIN. Very tasty! Sugar Free Kool Aid. So very tasty and a total life
saver. My favorite: Grape. Splenda. I don't use it a lot, but it's nice to have choices. Their website has some awesome recipes.
