At his birth an unspoken thought crossed the minds of everyone that knew about it. Everyone knew that the child of Sizzle was bound to end up with a tremendously hard life. Every villain in the universe wanted a piece of Sizzle, and the best way to get him was to get at his family, i.e. Blizzard and Alpha. But, Alpha survived the trouble, and through whatever form of denial he had, he did it with respect and love for his father Sizzle. This is very curious because Sizzle was never the greatest of fathers in Sizzle's own opinion. Sizzle was somewhat neglecting and never really knew how to be a good father having grown up without one himself. Alpha became increasingly close to his mother Blizzard, and remained in good humor about his father, but they always seemed to act like good friends instead of father and son. When Alpha became old enough to find his powers, the ability to blast Alpha radiation, he tried to go on missions with his mother and father. Sizzle didn't mind but Sizzle's opinion was dropped by Blizzard, who wasn't about to stand beside her son in such danger as they experienced. Sizzle taught his son how to use his powers up until the destruction of the Alpha Squadron and the death of Alpha's mother. That was when he lost both of his parents, though only one died. Alpha didn't see his father again until the remaking of the Alpha Squadron some 15 years later. Alpha now leads the NEW Alpha Squadron and still rarely sees his father.
