I pray to thee Lord, before I eat,
before I lie down each night,
extend to me your grace and mercy,
that I may always walk in your light.
I pray to thee Lord for those who are sick,
who live with uncertainty and fear,
that you will watch over and comfort them,
in your arms hold them always near.
I pray for those, who stand in harm’s way,
in their struggle against an evil foe,
walk beside them in their fight,
where ever they may go.
