April 11, 2007 - Wednesday

Sunny and gorgeous.

Last night I challenged myself to get to bed by midnight and I almost made it! I was in bed by 12:30, which for me was positively early. I was fast asleep when hubby came in a bit later. He woke me up. I don't know what it is, but he always wakes me up when he comes to bed after me. I don't think he tries to, he just does.

This morning I did stay in bed quite late. I got up, turned on the TV to see if there was foreign news or not. There was, but unfortunately not in English. Spanish? Check. Korean? Check. Chinese? Check. I went back to bed thinking if it came on in English I'd get up and watch. Something in English came on a bit after 9. BASEBALL. Again. Yawn. Not my favourite sport.

I dragged myself out of bed later, showered and did computer stuff. I cooked my brunch, read some of my book, and then left for work. On the way, I met the sister of one of my ex-students. We said hi before going on our way.

I had a good lesson today, then came home from the school. I got home not too long before Fumihiko. He'd got two deliveries today, and there was another one waiting for him at the post office. And, my FBC order had arrived too, so we had a bumper delivery day. Hubby went off to the post office to get his stuff, and I finished watching my CSI show.

Tonight I made the tacos that I put off last night. I was feeling pretty good today, so I didn't mind making them at all. I chopped tomatoes, washed lettuce, did the meat and got hubby to grate the cheese and make coffee. Everything was great! We have a small amount of leftovers, so I think I'll be making my infamous taco omelette tomorrow. Yum. Oh, no, wait, I'm going out for lunch. I won't be making lunch. Probably.

Fumihiko did the dishes for me, and I did computer stuff again. Boy, I spend a long time on my computer, don't I? Don't answer that. Then, we met on the couch to watch last week's Grey's Anatomy. It was quite good tonight. In the previews they'd shown a man who might be Dr. Grey's new love interest. I knew his face, but I couldn't think of his name. It took me a while on the IMDB, but I got it. It was Chris O'Donnell. I was really surprised. I remember him as having a baby face, but he doesn't anymore. He's quite handsome now. I'd hazard a guess that he's better looking than McDreamy!

We watched Monk afterwards. Fumihiko did some laundry too and while we were watching we ate some walnuts that we'd bought on our trip to Sendai. These are still in the shell. Japanese Walnuts are different than the ones we get in Canada. Japanese ones just don't have so much meat inside. They're good, but much harder work.

At 11 I turned off the TV. Fumihiko doesn't really like detective shows, and Without a Trace was on. I taped it for later. We spent a quiet evening together. I'm feeling better, but Fumihiko is still coughing a lot. I cough a bit, but it's not so bad yet. I'm hoping it doesn't become bad.

Anyway, that's it for me. Tomorrow I have a class in the evening, and also lunch in the early afternoon. Hopefully the weather will hold up and stay nice.

Night night.
