Cloudy, rainy, and finally clear at night.
I'm sick. Wah! I woke up this morning and realized that every bone in my body ached and my throat hurt, and I have a bit of a cough. I lazed around in the morning feeling sorry for myself and debated cancelling my classes today. I didn't. One class just started last week so if I cancelled I was worried the student's family would think I was flaky.
Just before I got ready to leave my apartment I checked the weather. It was torrential rain out there. Yuck. I dressed in my raincoat and raincape, got outside, and the worst of the rain had passed. Yes.
I got to the school on time and set up. My lessons went okay. I took some medicine before the first one, which helped me feel better. It started to wear off in the midst of my second class though. Still, I got through both classes.
Hubby called me just as I turned my phone back on and told me that a mutual friend or ours is getting married May 5, do I want to go? Well, yes, if it's possible. I have all of Golden Week off (one of the benefits of being self employed I guess!). The only thing I'm worried about is the aeroplane. Will we be able to come back on the plane? Hubby is presently booking tickets on line. Or trying to.
He picked me up and I begged off cooking dinner. I was planning to make tacos, but I just couldn't face all that prep, so we went to Gusto for a cheap and cheerful dinner. When we got there, there was a sign up saying that their oven was broken. They couldn't bake anything tonight. I could have my chicken though. Yay. I had that, and hubby had some Japanese stuff, and then we came home.
My goal tonight is to get to bed before midnight. I have 33 minutes to do it! I can't remember the last time I've gone to bed that early. Wish me luck, and hope that I feel better tomorrow morning.
