Summary
Elderly spinster Johanna Gebauer is murdered in her apartment and her valuables are stolen. Her neighbour, Elfriede Kopetzky, notices something suspiscious and soon recieves a threatening phonecall. Without a body, Moser turns to Kopetzky for help but she refuses to talk. More old ladies who all buy from the same delicatessen are reported missing, possibly murdered. Moser and Rex must find the culprit before he strikes again.

The good
Ida Krottendorf is great as Kopetzky, stubbornly silent and cantankerous despite Moretti (Moser) being at his most charming (Moretti can be incredibly charming when he wants to. I’d tell him anything if he asked - that is if I spoke German). There is a good final scene between Moser and Rex.

The bad
Get ready for it - from this point on, Rex will befriend every small child that comes along. This one is cute and genuine but you'll be sick of the kids before long - trust me.

Disclaimer : Kommissar Rex is owned by Mungo film, Tauris film, SAT.1 and ORF and was created by Peter Hajek and Peter Moser. None of the characters, actors or photographs belong to me, unfortunately. I'm just borrowing them, having a bit of fun and then returning them more or less unharmed.
