Summary
The corpses of Russian immigrants are turning up in Vienna, frozen to death in the middle of summer weather. Moser and his colleagues realise that someone is selling their kidneys on the black market. This time, however, Moser may have got more than he bargained for and is shot and kidnapped. Can Rex find him in time?

The good
The bad guys are not too stupid - they don't bother to introduce Moser to the boss or tell him their plans. The black market kidneys was a clever idea. Also this episode features my favourite scene ever between Moser and Rex - a tug-of-war match involving Rex's rope.

The bad
Some of the events are a little too convenient, such as Moser's phone cutting out just as Stockinger tries to give him a warning. Also disappointing is the short screen time for Stockinger and Höllerer. It’s obvious that the tug-of-war scene is just to establish that Rex knows how to pull on command but it was so sweet I think I’ll forgive them.

Disclaimer : Kommissar Rex is owned by Mungo film, Tauris film, SAT.1 and ORF and was created by Peter Hajek and Peter Moser. None of the characters, actors or photographs belong to me, unfortunately. I'm just borrowing them, having a bit of fun and then returning them more or less unharmed.
