Camera Repair

A couple of weeks ago Sarah dropped her camera and broke the screen. After getting a quote from Sony for a minimum of 111 dollars, I decided to search the web for the cheapest priced screen I could find. My brother helped me find a screen for 49 dollars plus shipping and encouraged me to replace the screen myself. Today, I got the screen. After about two hours of slow-paced tinkering I had the new screen in and it was working.

Sarah and I walked to In-N-Out Burger for dinner. We got our food and ate outside on the patio just after the sunset. It was a nice cool escape from our apartment, which feels like 100 degrees.

I played disc golf with Ryan and David today. This is the light post by basket 2. I got par on the basket both times I played it. I finished the first round with a 1 over par. On the second round I shot a 4 over par.

My friend Charlie links all of his movies by actor. I found this very interesting so I started a spreadsheet and linked my own that way. Finally, since my movies were in no particular order anymore, I decided to link them physically on the shelf too. Here is the stack of movies that I have linked by actor. 61 of my 88 movies are continuously linked by actor.

I played 109 baskets of disc golf yesterday, but it wasn't enough. I went along with Wade and played a round of 18 at La Mirada. I shot a 5 over, which is about average for me. This is the signature basket at La Mirada. The disc must pass between the trees with the red arrows on them.

Today, we participated in our third annual disc golf tournament. At this point in the day we had finished our first round with five to go. I was in the lead but Zach eventually passed me about 75 baskets later and won. That makes three years in a row for him. It's time to start training for next year.

Sarah and I headed east along the 22 to scope out a new spot for a sunset. We ended up just around the block from our apartment in a church parking lot. It wasn't the most amazing location, but we got some interesting pictures.
