Newport Beach
Mood:  chillin'
Topic: Scenery

Sarah and I went to Newport Beach Pier to watch our weekly sunset. The view was very nice and the pier was a great backdrop. I'm happy with this picture.

Bible Study
Mood:  chillin'
Topic: Scenery

Just before we got to Charlie and Beth's house for bible study, we stopped for a quick picture of the sky after the sun had set.

Hubbard Glacier
Mood:  cool
Topic: Scenery

We had to wake up early this morning to get a good view of the Hubbard Glacier. The glacier is about 7 miles to the left of this picture. That is about as close as the captain of our ship could get us due to the large amounts of ice in the water.

White Pass
Mood:  a-ok
Topic: Scenery

When we arrived in Skagway we jumped on a bus and headed through the small town of Skagway and up the White Pass. This was the furthest we went along the road. The scenery was great. In the late 1800s many people passed through here in search of gold. Due to Canadian law, each man had to bring enough supplies for one year. This amounted to 2000 pounds of goods. They carried 50 or so pounds at a time 1 mile at a time. The trek was 33 miles.
