Housewife Power!!

uh, right- Anyway! I do seem to be doing well :heart:
I am now in my second day of clinicals (at a nursing home...) for my CNA course- so that means... in a few days, I'll be able to take the state test and possibly become employed- YAY!!

I LOVE clinicals (me so crazy)
-and I'd love to go on, but it's about time for me to go home soon (past that actually, since I stranded myself in the college library by hanging out online and reading manga for hours- bad Daiko, BAD! o.o... ooowowowooooo! ...yeah.)

lessons from a Sunday's Mass

this is rather simplified since I wasn't able to take notes during church (I didn't have a pen with me) but this should suffice- these are two lists that I was able to reproduce from the homily that was given at the Life Teen Mass yesterday

to live a Christ-centered life:
1. Pray (at least seven times daily)
2. follow the Commandments
3. remember the lessons that Parents have taught*

when to pray (at the very least- this is taken from The Liturgy of the Hours:
`in the morning (first thing when you wake)
`mid-morning
`noon
`afternoon
`evening
`mid-evening
`at night (the last thing before falling asleep)


*-myuh- okay, that is a very awkward way of saying the third item that Father talked about- but that is what he had said, I just didn't go into detail...

Actually, what Father had said with regards to this area is that it is very important that the parents do everything that they can do to direct the souls of their children to Heaven- specifically, he said that it is fruitless to have children and raise them if their souls were to be lost...

I guess- no, I see that I am still a child somewhat on some level, because I still react in such a way whenever I see people who are about to be buried: wake up.

I know that they aren't sleeping, and that people die I know that, I keep thinking that though, even though people who are dead aren't merely sleeping.

...I didn't want the Holy Father to die- maybe I'm selfish, but ever since I heard the news on Friday that he was in critical condition my thoughts were, "don't go, don't leave us..." -just variations on that. I don't like this, but I think I'm beginning to accept what has happened. -sigh-
