A fully functional and
properly designed bathroom is essential in any well designed home. Whether
you are designing a main bathroom or a master bathroom, the design
criteria remains the same.
I like to avoid locating
bathrooms on exterior walls. The reasons are:
Plumbing placed in an
exterior wall is more likely to freeze in the winter.
Bathrooms placed on outside
walls are rarely convenient for the occupants of the home.
Bathrooms located on
exterior walls typically use more piping material because of their
location.
Major bathroom fixtures
include a toilet, bidet, vanity, sink, mirror or mirrored cabinet,
bathtub, shower, whirlpool.
If you have a specific
design question, no matter what the topic, email me and I will be happy to
respond!
Mission Statement
Michael's design was created to educate consumers
about the factors which should be considered in any design, to provide design
ideas, computer aided design files, renderings, and other information related to
the design of cabinets, furniture, mechanical products, millwork, and residential and
commercial buildings.
