Day 1 Day 2 Day 3 Day 4 Day 5 Day 6 Day 7

Hello there, reader. So nice of you to pop in and read about my trip to Southern California! I will be trying to describe all parts of this trip day-by-day, with lots of detail, and many pictures. So sit back and enjoy!

Day 7 was our last day in southern California. It was the day we would return home. We packed up our suitcases and all the extras we got since we got there including an old laptop my uncle gave us and all my Presto Studios stuff.

Our flight was at 1:30, but we decided to leave a couple hours earlier than we had planned and it's good that we did! As it turned out, there was an earlier flight home at 11:55. So we changed our tickets for that flight with no extra charge (yay!) and we got on the plane in less than 20 minutes. Not bad! The flight home was very nice. There were hardly any clouds in the sky the whole way, so I got to watch the scenery below again. No pictures this time. Sorry. The movie that was showing during the flight was Antitrust. I had been wanting to see that movie for quite some time so when I heard it was playing, I didn't mind paying the five dollars for the headset to listen to it. (Mind you, I could have just used my own headset from my CD player, but we get fined if we do that on the plane.) The movie was really good. Kind of short and lacking some things, but overall it was pretty good.

When it was time for our landing at the airport, the plane came down as it usually does, but when we were several feet from touching down it suddenly started climbing back up. The problem was, they weren't entirely sure the front landing gear was down! As it turned out, the landing gear was indeed down, but the little green indicator in the cockpit wasn't lighting up. The bulb burnt out! We landed safely, but we had to sit on the runway for about half an hour to wait for them to change the light bulb. *sigh* That wasn't too bad. After it was changed, we taxied to the gate and we were home!

That was my trip to southern California. It was quite eventful as you can all see. I thank you for reading all of this if you indeed did read about all seven days. (If not, that's okay. ^_^) Please, drop me a line and tell me what you thought of my vacation and the layout of this site describing it. I always enjoy feedback and seeing what other people think of my work. I hope you enjoyed reading this!

Thanks for making all of this possible, Dad!
