I don't see much point in slapping up a ton of stolen information on PSO Episode III and II PLUS here, so I'll just put up a bit and link you to a larger and generally more informative page if that's okay with you? :)

PSO Episode III -

Card based battling this time rather than our usual real time adventures. This is what's putting a lot of people off. Regardless of this drastic change to gamplay though, the game doesn't look bad. If some of your mates get this and you stick with Eps I & II, I think/hope you can still chat to them in the lobby (so hopefully we'll share the same servers). It's still team based, and also has a more involving story as far as I can tell (read the stuff in the links below to find out more), I think it has a set of good and evil NPC characters that the story is based around. I believe there are also cutscenes and stuff to further the story, which is a good thing, I like a bitta story. So really, more of the same, but with a twist. Bag loads more information at PSO World (link below). I'll put a proper synopsis thing up here when I buy it.

PSO Episodes I & II PLUS -

You remember PSO Version 2 on the Dreamcast right? Well this is similar to that, but it updates Eps I & II. One of the most notable and good things about this package is that it allows you to play the online Quests offline. So if you lose the ability to socialise electronically then you can do some fancy stuff on yer own. Nice. There's also a new challenge mode available offline, although what it entails I'm not quite sure. You can use the GBA link up to download mini games such as NiGHTS and Puyo Puyo, and there's a bunch of new weapons and items. Like with Version 2, you play on the same servers as the rest of the gang so you can still interact with non-PLUS owners, and you can use your previous character data. Also, those who keep getting corrupted - there is NO double save in this game, so less chance of that happening.

This was kind of the thing to buy if you had a 100% aversion to Episode III in Japan, and as far as I know, this is only available in Japan. If it comes out here I'll be sure to pick it up though.

That's it, here's some links so you can get the proper inside scoop -
