 Goten is the youngest son of Goku. He is one year younger than Trunks and has about the same power level as Trunks. He is Trunks' best friend and they can fuise together to form Gotenks. Goten does not become book smart like Gohan because Chi-Chi is too tired to go through what she did with Gohan.
