[ Travel screen - continue to the right.]
[ Darkness... The sound of a door opening... Approaching footsteps... "U... Ungh..." Ayako opens her eyes a little. Yûri and Yuna are standing over her bed. Yuna looks concerned; Yûri is smiling.]
Ayako (surprised): Ah... Yuna?
Yuna: Surprised? Ehehehe, we came to see you! 
Yûri: We wanted to see you feeling better more than anything, we did! 
Ayako: I...
Yuna: No no, Ayako-chan, you need to rest more...
Ayako: O... Okay...
Yuna: Ehehe! Guess what? I brought you something grrreat today!
[ Yuna hands her a quart bucket of ice cream. ]
Yuna: The absolute number one tastiest thing in the Galaxy, "Bragain Guts' Ice Cream!"
Yuna: I thought I'd let you eat it, Ayako-chan.
Yûri (looking abashed): In reality, I thought Yûri and Yuna would eat it, I did...
Yûri: But Ayako-chan is a special exception, she is!
Yuna: So Ayako-chan, eat up!
Ayako: Okay...
[ Yuna puts a spoonful in Ayako's mouth. ]
Ayako: Aah!
Yuna: Are you okay!?
Ayako: It's cold, but... tasty!
Yuna: Ahaha! Thank goodness!
[ A tone sounds. Elnar's voice comes over the intercom. ]
Elnar: Yuna! I have something to talk to you about, so please come to the cockpit...
Mai: If you don't get up here quick, I'll make you stand in the hall with a bucket!
Shiori: Huuuuuurrrrrrryyyyyyyyyyyyy uuuuuuuuuuuppppppppppp.................................
Yuna: Awawawa! S, sorry Ayako-chan, I'll come back later!
Yûri: Hurry and get better, I say!
Ayako: Mm-hmm!
[ Yuna arrives on the bridge. ]
Yuna: What's up? Calling me so suddenly...
Jinmin: Before we go on to the Machine Planet, there are some other planets we need to go to.
[ He holds out his hand and an image forms in the air above it. It shows what appears to be a ring of asteroids with a pillar in the middle. The pillar has runes and sigils on it. ]
Misaki: This is...?
Jinmin: Gokokuheki... the ruins of the last great war...
Jinmin: going by Paishan's account of recent events, the "Left Acolyte Chuuphon" should be there.
Polylina: Chuuphon? As in the Three Wisemachines?
Yuna: Why do you say that?
Jinmin: If there's a chance of him being there, we must try it.
Mai: Eesh, that doesn't seem like such a big crisis to me!
Mai: Y'all keep saying "Three Wisemachines" but just two should do the trick, right?
[ Quickly, Lemi smacks her across the head with a giant mallet as Ako and Mako tie her up and drag her off. ]
Lemi: Oh, nothing, nothing at all!
Elnar: Aah, being around these people makes me nervous...
Misaki: At any rate, we have to choose by what route to advance!
[ Meanwhile, we see the medical room. Sad music box music plays. Ayako is out of her bed, standing at the window and staring off into space (literally). She pictures Yuna protecting her when they first met. ]
Yuna: Hey, you're all making such scary faces; don't be mean to her!
Yuna: Hey, if you don't have any place to go, you can come home with me!
[ A flashback of Yuna, Yûri, Misaki and Lia in Yuna's room. ]
Misaki: Now that we know who she is, we know the terrible things she's done.
Misaki: It's my duty as a Galaxy Alliance officer to destroy that girl!
Yuna: Eh!? Wait!! I know that she used to do bad things...
Yuna: But now Ayako is a very good girl!
Ayako: Y... Yuna!?
[ Another flashback. Ayako lies mortally wounded in a wrecked department store. Broken mannequins lie in pieces around her. Yuna is kneeling and holding her hand, tears in her eyes. ]
Ayako: Y... Yuna... Don't... go...
Yuna: I'm not leaving! I'm not going anywhere! I'm right here!
Yuna: I won't leave you alone! I absolutely won't!!
[ Yuna's face is reflected in her staring eye. ]
Yuna: We'll play a lot... we'll make lots of friends... so don't! Don't die!!
Ayako: I don't want... to die...
[ Yet another flashback. Ayako's spirit stands next to Yuna as she prepares to demolish the three sisters' spaceship, and any hope of Ayako's revival along with it. ]
Ayako: Yuna... Thank you, Yuna...
[ Back to Ayako standing in the medical room of the Element Fairy and looking out into space. ]
Ayako: Yuna...
Voice: Hmhmm... What are you doing in a place like this?
Ayako: !!
[ The room darkens. Ayako looks around. ]
Ayako: That voice!?
Voice: I looked for you. So, let's go home... to our country, the Machine Empire...
Ayako: Huh?
Voice: Her Mechanical Majesty and your big sisters are waiting for you to come home...
Ayako: Big sister too?
[ Ayako covers her head and shuts her eyes. ]
Ayako: No! I'm not going back! I'll always, always stay with Yuna!!
Voice: What are you saying? Those guys are the enemy.
Ayako: You're wrong! Yuna is my friend!
Voice: Think before you say things, heheh! "Friend?"
Voice: There's always been a misunderstanding between humans and us... if they're saying anything different then it's all just talk.
Ayako: Uh-uh, that's not it!!
Ayako: When I was in trouble, Yuna saved me! She protected me!!
[ A hand reaches out of the darkness. ]
Voice: Bah, the kid won't listen at all. Oh well...
[ A Mechanizan with glowing eyes and flower bulbs on her armor steps out of the darkness and grabs Ayako from behind. ]
???: Come quietly; we'll erase your memory again!
Ayako: S, stop!
Ayako: Yunaaaaa!
[ On the bridge, Yuna senses something. ]
Yuna: !?
Elnar: What happened?
Yuna: Hmm...
[ CHOICE: Ask Elnar or Look Around]
Yuna: Elnar... did you just hear Ayako's voice?
Elnar: Eh? I didn't hear anything...
[ Yuna looks out the window. Outside, Ayako is being dragged past, screaming silently. ]
Yuna: Ah!! Ayako-chan is--!!
Polylina: Grr, when did they--!?
[ Tactical mode. Ayako is imprisoned in a blue orb, floating in space; the Mechanizan who nabbed her stands next to her. ]
Ayako: No, nooooo! I'm staying with Yuna! I'm not going back to the Machine Empire!!
[ Yuna comes drifting up. ]
???: Jeez, you sure are a sore loser!
???: Be that as it may, I'm one of the Six Flower Warriors, "Tau-pha."
Tau-pha: At any rate, I'll be taking Ayako now!
[ She pushes Ayako's sphere and it floats over and stops next to a swirling vortex. ]
Ayako: Yunaaaa!
Elnar: That's... a Warp Point!
Elnar: If Tau-pha pushes her into that, she can take her anywhere she wants!
Yuna: We won't give up Ayako-chan to the Machine Empire no matter what!!
[ Battle. Tau-pha heads straight for Ayako and the Warp Point at full speed. You have to get there before she does. Obviously, High Speed Serika would be a good choice for this mission. Note that ESP is blocked so Lia and Misaki can't teleport over there. :p Most of the baddies are "effect" types who slow you down, confuse you, poison you, etc. There's also an interesting effect called "Fat!" I don't know what it does to your characters' stats, but it stretches their sprite so that they look chubby. ^_^ You can fix this by using the "Diet Soda" item. ;) Also, you get to use Jinmin in battle! He has an insane amount of hit points, and he can slash things with a laser sword or use the sword to shoot a column of energy in a line 5 squares long. Very cool! When you beat Tau-pha to Ayako, she reverts to plan B: kill you. :) So, you kill her and then... ]
Tau-pha: If only Ayako had come back... I...
[ She explodes. Mission clear.]
Yuna: Ayako-chan, are you all right!? You're not hurt?
Ayako: Yuna! Yuna!
[ She runs forward a couple steps and stops. ]
Yuna: What is it?
Ayako: You came... Yuna, you came to rescue me!
Yuna: Ehehe! Of course I did.
Ayako: It's okay if I stay, right? It's okay if I stay with you forever, isn't it Yuna?
Yuna: Of course. Me too... I'll always, always be with you.
[ Back to Story Mode. The Element Fairy is going through hyperspace. Onboard, all the girls are standing around chatting. ]
Erika: It seems we've recruited a new ally, huh?
Mai: Gosh, everybody she travels with winds up fighting for her... Yuna is one strange kid.
Yûri: I'm sure we'll even meet more and more friends!
Polylina: Heh, I suppose so... I think so too.
Paishan: "Friend..." It's such a wonderful word, isn't it...
[ Suddenly a klaxon goes off. ]
Polylina: This sound is the Distress Signal Alarm!
[ Miki appears on a screen overhead. ]
Miki: It was very weak, but somehow we caught it. I'll display the transmission now.
[ A scene of burning wreckage comes up. ]
Yuna: What's this?
[ The camera pans over to show a middle-aged woman with a thin face and elf ears. She's lying down and there's a foot standing on her back. ]
???: Kagurazaka... Yuna... hurry... if this keeps up, this planet will...
???: Aaaaaugh!
[ The screen goes red. ]
Yuna: Hang in there! Hey! I said hey!
[ A Mechanizan with a big roundish flower on her back and a sword stands on a pile of bodies. ]
???: Yuna Kagurazaka still isn't here? This planet, "Cantseeya," won't be around much longer if she doesn't come and face me!
Jinmin: That's--!
???: Hahahaha! It's okay; it'll take me a while to do a thorough job of eradicating every last one!
Jinmin: Arr... What a thing to say...
Yuna: Jinmin-san, do you know that girl?
Jinmin: "Tsuyan-pha" of the Six Flower Warriors!
Jinmin: She'll use any means to accomplish her goals!
Polylina: Everyone, let's go!
[ The klaxon sounds again. ]
Lemi: Again Distress Signal Alarm? We hurrying already!
Miki: Wait... this one's coming from the ship Eternal Princess!
Yuna: Eh!? From Princess Mirage!?
[ Princess Mirage appears on the monitor. ]
Polylina: Mirage, what's wrong?
[ The transmission cuts in and out. ]
Mirage: Everyone, ca-- --our hear me-- --nemy-- --bombs-- --n the Eternal Prince--
Yuna: Eh!? B, bombs!?
Mirage: Somehow-- --efuse-- --unable to-- --ssistance-- --ll right--
Yuna: Mirage! Mirage!!
[ The transmission ends. ]
Yuna: what should we do!? The Eternal Princess and "Cantseeya" are both in a pinch...
Erika: It's obvious. We help Mirage first, then we go to Cantseeya.
Misaki: Wait a minute! Cantseeya is already under attack; people are dying as we speak!
Misaki: There's a chance it could be a trap, but the people of Cantseeya really need us now!
Erika: Are you suggesting we leave the Princess to be destroyed? Mirage is our comrade!
Misaki: How about you? Are you saying we should leave a whole planet to die for the sake of one friend of ours!?
Yuna: Polylina-sama, what should we do?
Polylina: It might be difficult... but we could split into two groups.
Elnar: Exactly, Yuna! Just like when we infiltrated Tensei, we could divide and conquer!
Polylina: Yeah. It's risky, but it's the only option we've got.
Elnar: So, just as before, let's split into a team led by Yuna and one led by Polylina!
Polylina: I'll leave it up to Yuna to decide who goes in what team this time...
Polylina: Yuna's team will need a high movement speed this time.
Elnar: So, Yuna, pick your team members!
[ Pick them, same as before. Surprise: you can now have Ayako in your party!]
Elnar: It looks like you've decided on your team members.
Elnar: So, Yuna, which place do you want to go to?
[ CHOICE: Cantseeya / Princess ]
[ Tactical mode. You arrive in the cargo bay. Big bombs reminiscent of World War II naval mines are floating around in the air. ]
Yuna: Mirage! We've come to save you!
Mirage: Yuna-san!? For my sake?
Elnar: Yuna! If you attack those bombs, it should put them out of commission!
Yuna: Understood, Elnar. Mirage, we'll take care of the bombs as fast as we can!
[ Red robots pop up around the room, then Tsuyan-pha shows up at the far end of the room. ]
Tsuyan-pha: Moron! Did you think it would be that easy!?
Yuna: I thought you were on Cantseeya!
Tsuyan-pha: It was simple to send a fake distress signal... but this ship is finished anyway!
[ Battle ensues. Every round a message pops up telling you how many turns you have left until the bombs explode. The bombs have a low armor stat or something, so when you hit them you'll do around 900 points of damage (where your average atatck does about 130 to the enemies) which is more than enough to knock out the bomb. In addition, however, your experience points are based on the amount of damage you do - so the characters who hit the bombs may gain as much as 3 levels for one kill! Presumably this is a bug, but you can level up some weaker characters (*COUGH* Mari *COUGH*) easily this way. Now, for the real highlight of this fight: you get to use Ayako! Woot! She's awesome, too! She has three special attacks already, all three of which unleash varying flavors of destruction. Her close-range attack is really powerful too. In addition, she moves almost as fast as High Speed Serika and she has plenty of hit points. Unfortunately for all her pyrotechnics she doesn't do too much damage. Other than that, she's easily one of the best characters you can get. At any rate, your goal this time is not only to take out Tsuyan-pha but also to destroy all the bombs within 5 turns or so. Once you do that... ]
Tsuyan-pha: You hags, you caught me at a bad time...
[ She explodes. ]
Yuna: Phew! Looks like we made it just in time!
[ A chime sounds. Polylina's voice comes over the radio.]
Polylina: It's me. Everything's taken care of on our end.
Yuna: I knew you could do it, Polylina-sama! We've got it all under control here too!
Polylina: Great! The plan was successful then!
[ Mirage appears in a beam of light. ]
Mirage: Yuna-san...
Yuna: Princess Mirage!
Mirage: You really got me out of a tough situation this time... I truly thank you!
Mirage: Once the engine repairs are finished, I can follow you!
Yuna: Yeah! I'm glad you're safe, Mirage!!

Under the dim blue sky, amid the barren waste, Genmu kneels holding the unconscious Kyoka. Electricity arcs from gashes in their outer skin, and yellow fluid leaks from Genmu's head and runs into her eye. She bares her teeth at Yuna, then flinches in pain.
"Don't Move!" Yuna says, concerned. She turns to her comrades. "Hurry everyone, let's get these two back to the ship!" Genmu looks surprised. "Why...? We're the enemy..." "But you're wounded; we can't just leave you here!" Genmu looks thoughtful for a moment, then smiles and looks resigned. "The 'Savior of Light'... I see..." Yuna approaches slowly. "So, hurry..." Genmu starts to hold out her hand, but just then a plume of black energy violently erupts from beneath her. It drives Yuna back a step. Genmu makes a pained sound as her synthetic flesh begins to flay from her body. Ayako starts towards her. "Big Sister!" "Stay away!!" Genmu yells. Ayako stops, looking surprised. Genmu and Kyoka are now enveoloped in a pulsating rainbow of destructive energy. The ground beneath them begins to crack and buckle. Genmu looks thoughtful. "Kagurazaka Yuna..." A pillar of rock raises out of the ground and bears Genmu and Kyoka into the air, the energy still lashing at them. Genmu smiles. "...Ayako..." Ayako screams out, "Big sisterrrrrr!" The huge ball of energy expands briefly, then implodes on Genmu and Kyoka. There's a massive fiery explosion that reaches all the way to the ground. Ayako collapses in tears; Yuuri bends down to comfort her. "Ayako-chan..." she says. Meanwhile, Yuna is still standing in shock, facing the pillar of rock; she drops to her knees, throws her head back and lets out a truly chilling scream of anguish. Atop the pillar sits one red orb and one black orb, hopelessly smashed to pieces. |
[ Back on the ship. ]
Miki: Her face, at that final moment... was smiling.
[ Yuna is still hanging her head. Rui and Polylina place comforting hands on her shoulders. ]
Yuna: Terrible... so terrible, this is... I'm so sorry... Ayako-chan......
Elnar: Yuna...
Polylina: That battle couldn't have been avoided... those girls knew that too...
Yuna: Ayako-chan... currently... where is she?
Erika: She's resting in the infirmary... she's still in shock, but Shiori is tending to her...
Yuna: But... Why... Why did they have to die!? Death never solves anything!!
Mai: Oh, pull yourself together! Where has my usual perky Yuna gone?
Mai: Your feelings usually stay light through everything... isn't that better?
Erika: Probably, at the end of the end, it was the Machine Empress who did them in!
Yuna: But... but... even so... I couldn't do anything...
Yuna: Neither save them... nor become their friend...
[ The door opens and Ayako steps through, being followed by Paishan. ]
Ayako: Yuna... don't blame yourself so much...
Yuna: Ayako-chan?
Ayako: Big Sister was still able to be touched by your warm heart...
Ayako: Until then, just like I was long ago, their hearts had been overcome by solitude...
Ayako: But that's not so anymore! I know my big sisters felt your kindness and your sincerity...
Ayako: My big sisters did become friends with you!
Yuna: Ayako-chan...
Ayako: I'm not sad anymore! And I'm sure Big Sister isn't either!
Ayako: I still have you, Yuna! And within Big Sister's heart, you're...
Yuna: Ayako-chan... sorry... I made you worried about me...
Polylina: Hey, Yuna... you look best when you're smiling... you're not allowed to make that face all the time, okay?
Yuna: Yes.
Elnar: Now then, everyone... the Machine Planet isn't far now; let's go on ahead!

Meikui stands at the bottom of the stairs, laughing evilly. The black hole above her head is sucking in various bits of debris from all over the courtyard. Yuna and Polylina are clinging to the base of a statue; Mai is hanging onto a plant root at the base of it. Suddenly the root breaks, and Mai sails through the air - but Polylina catches her hand at the last second. She strains to hold onto both Mai and the post, but then the top of the post breaks off and they go flying. The post falls into the black hole and is warped into a swirly mess - but Polylina realizes after a second that she isn't dead. She looks back to see Yuna hanging onto her hand. So now, Yuna is hanging onto the post and Polylina's hand, and Polylina is hanging onto Yuna's hand and Mai's hand.
Polylina: Yuna! Polylina and Mai are both dangling horizontally in the air; behind them, leaves are being sucked off of trees and tiles are breaking off the ground and flying past. Polylina: Let go! If you don't, you'll be pulled in too! Yuna: No! If you were gone... NO! Polylina: Yuna...
Meikui continues to laugh evilly. Yuna grunts with exertion. Polylina turns her head and gives Mai a serious look. Polylina: Mai. Mai looks confused for a second, then smiles resignedly. Mai: Yeah, yeah, I get it... Polylina lets go of Yuna's hand, though Yuna is still hanging onto her wrist. Yuna: No! Don't let go of my hand! Polylina: Yuna, I leave the rest up to you. Mai: Don't do it half-assed, alright? Polylina's hand slips out of Yuna's grip. Mai and Polylina fly toward the black hole. Mai: And you better not lose, or I'll haunt you! They both fall into the black hole. Their images warp and swirl around, disappearing into the middle of the vortex.
Yuna: MAI-CHAAAN!! POLYLINA-SAMAAA!!! Meikui continues laughing evilly as the hole closes in a red flash. Yuna stares straight ahead in shock, her eyes wide, quivering slightly. Then she lowers her head, creases her eyebrows, and bares her teeth with rage. A white light surrounds her and her armor shifts to its "Black" form.

[ Yuna's SD sprite has an aura of white light around it. ]
Meikui: Hohohohoho... it seems only you evaded death.
Meikui: Maybe I'll kill you the standard way, just so I can hear your screams...
Yuna: Gh.... H... How DARE you...
Meikui: Hmm? Did you say something?
Yuna: HOW DARE YOU DO THAT TO THEM!? HRRRRRRAAAAAA!
[ Battle Mode. When you attack... ]
Yuna: This is for Yûri!
[ Yuna blows the crap out of Meikui. ]
Meikui: Ugh!?
[ Meikui attacks back, using a nasty-looking attack called "Super Nova." It fails to do any damage at all. ]
Yuna: This is for Polylina-sama!!
[ POW! ]
Meikui: What!?
[ She uses Super Nova again. Yuna doesn't even blink. ]
Yuna: And this is for Mai-chan!
[ WHAM! ]
Meikui: Why!? This power--!?
[ She runs behind Yuna and attacks with another Super Nova. It's completely absorbed. ]
Yuna: This one's for Ayako-chan!
[ WHACK!! ]
Meikui: S-- Strong... Too strong...!
Yuna: GIVE THEM BACK!!!
Meikui: Uwaaaaaaaa---!
[ BOOOOOOOOM ]

Meikui has been reduced to a pile of burning rubble. Yuna, still in "Dark Form" stands motionless and watches it burn. Gradually her armor fades back to its normal form.
Yuna: Everyone... is gone... Just then the landscape is lit by a bright flash of white light coming from the sky behind her. She spins around. Yuna: What's that!? She runs up the mountain slope behind her. As she gets to the top, the bulk of a huge familiar starship looms into view from horizon to horizon.
Yuna: Th-- This is... The Princess? Sure enough, the Eternal Princess is hovering over the continent she's on (it's several times larger than the continent), clouds rolling around parts of it. Yuna: Princess Mirage! Then a voice calls down over the wind, "Yuna!" She realizes that all her friends are standing on top of one of the nearer parts of the ship, waving at her.
Yuna: Everyone! She giggles happily. |
[ Back in Story Mode. Yuna arrives on top of the Princess. ]
Yuna: Everyone! You were all saved!
Polylina: Yeah! While we were floating in the void, Princess Mirage came along!
Mirage: I took a guess at where Yuna-san might be, but I certainly didn't expect to meet everyone in a place like that!
Yuna: Thank you... Thank you, Mirage!
Mirage: Heeheehee... I only did the obvious.
Mai: Well anyway, it looks like you beat her alone; I gotta give you props for that!
Ayako: Yunaaa!
[ She runs up and gives Yuna a big hug. ]
Yuna: What's up, Ayako-chan?
Ayako: But... but...
Yuna: Heehee... Welcome home, Ayako-chan!
Ayako: Yep! I'm home!
Yuna: Everyone... everyone, welcome back!
[ Chuuphon, Jinmin and Paishan are standing apart, smiling. ]
Chuuphon: Kagurazaka Yuna... Why is it... that whenever I see that smile, it brings warmth to my heart...
Jinmin: Yes... it's just like the joy of victory in battle...
Jinmin: That child spreads a motherly warmth, like the sun on the fields.
Paishan: That smile may be her strongest power of all...
[ As they watch, Polylina holds Milky while Ayako wags her finger in front of its nose playfully. Yuna is giggling. ]
Chuuphon: But... I still can't believe it... that that girl was able to turn the hearts of the Three Bewitching Machine Sisters.
Paishan: It's a power that transcends time and space... "Unconditional Love."
Paishan: With that in mind, is it that strange that she was able to affect the hearts of the Three Bewitching Machine Sisters?
Chuuphon: Hmm...
Jinmin: That kindness. I believe... that one day it will put an end to this conflict.
Chuuphon: Can she endure to the end? That girl?
Jinmin: I think so.
[ They cross their swords in the air. ]
Jinmin: Savior of Light, Lady Kagurazaka Yuna! We, Chuuphon and Jinmin of the Three Wisemachines, entrust everything to you!
Chuuphon: To save this galaxy... we swear to fight by your side!
Chuuphon: Even if it means the destruction of our bodies, we shall carry out your every command!
[ A beam of light shoots up from their swords and creates a rainbow in the sky over the Princess. ]
Yuna: I can't do anything by myself. I'm just an ordinary little girl, after all...
Yuna: Without everyone else, I'm just a major klutz... so, it's a pleasure to be working with you!
Chuuphon: Lady Yuna...
Yuna: Allllright! Everyone! It's just a little further to the Machine Planet; let's give it our best shot!
[ Eyecatch - Yuna is floating in her battlesuit and hugging herself with a serene look on her face. Two colored balls of light float in front of her. ]

Not the translations or the HTML - but you can have the images under the condition that you tell me you're taking them. ^_^ I probably won't respond (busy, busy!) so don't ask "Can I take them?"; just say "Hey, I'm borrowing image X, my page URL is XXXXX."
