Japanese Version:Meiling is Shoran's cousin and fiance all rolled into one. However unlike the rest of Shoran's family, she has no magical powers. She adores Shoran and is determaned to help him find the Clow Cards (and he puts up with it...awww..) Meiling doesn't like Sakura at all, and is constantly copeating with her (like Sakura she's very athletic.)She come to Japan from Hong Kong so she could "help" Shoran find the Clow Cards.

English Version: her name's changed to Meilin (the spelling makes me think "Merlin" whenever I read it) She is not Li's fiance or cousin. Their relationship seems a "friend of the family" kind of thing. She says that her dad got tranfered to wherever this place is in the English version. but other than that she's basicly Meiling w/ a bad name. (Well at least they didn't change it completeltly)
