The Tenkaichi Budoukai is a tournament held once every three years on May 7. The greatest fighters from around the world gather at every tournament to battle it out for the title of world champion and a great prize.

Disqualifications occur if:
- You Use any sort of weapon or foreign object
- Leave during the tournament
- Kill your opponent

You lose if you:
- Are knocked unconscious
- Say "I give up"
- Get knocked out of the ring
- Go down for a count of 10
