Yugi Mutou
Description: Yugi is short for his age and is a bit wippy. He's really into games, and he is the owner of the Millenium Puzzle. He gets possesed by the other spirit of the puzzle once in a while, and afterwards he doesn't remember what happened. As far as Magic and Wizards goes, Yugi is top dog. There seems that there isn't an opponent strong (or smart) enough to beat him. He is extreamly loyal, and he would do anything for his friends, even if it means risking his life. His favorite card to play is the Dark Magician, and he strongly believes in the heart of the cards.
Katsuya Jonouchi
Description: Jonouchi is one tough guy. He gets into fights often, and he's not afraid to back down from challenges, no matter what they are. At first he picked on Yugi, but the two have grown to be very close friends. Jonouchi, despite his tough attitude, tries to help his friends as often as possible. He has a younger sister, Shizuka, who he is very fond and protective of. Although he was a novice duelist in the beginning, he's starting to get the hang of it, and he turned out pretty good. His favorite card is the Red-Eyes Black Dragon.
Anzu Mazaki
Description: Anzu is a very kind and caring girl who was Yugi's friend from a while back. She is very supportive of her friends and does all she can to let them reach their fullest potential. She has a bit of a crush on Yami Yugi, though at first she doesn't know anything about him other than his voice. She isn't really into dueling as much as Yugi and Jonouchi are, but she has enough cards to play when she want to.
Hiroto Honda
Description: Honda is Jonouchi's best friend. At first he didn't warm up to Yugi as Jonouchi did, but after Yugi helped him out Honda became friends with him. He's tough like Jonouchi, but he uses his head a bit more, whereas Jonouchi follows his instincts. Honda isn't really into Magic and Wizards, and he doesn't really own any cards. He supports his friends and is there to back them up when they're in trouble.
Seto Kaiba
Seto Kaiba is the CEO of Kaiba Corp., and he is fueled by Magic and Wizards. He was the top duelist in the country until Yugi knocked him off his post, and he's since vowed to get his revenge on Yugi. He collects many cards, and owns three of the four Blue-Eyes White Dragons (he had the fourth, but he ripped it up so it couldn't be used against him). He owns many rare and strong cards, but the reason he can't win as often as Yugi is because he does things his way and doesn't believe in the heart of the cards or the values of friendship. He has a younger brother, Mokuba, who is one of the only people he really cares about enough to show it.
