Kazuki Takahashi
Kazuki Takahashi tried to get into the manga scene since 1982. He wasn't really known until the debut of Yu-Gi-Oh! in Weekly Shonen Jump in Japan in 1996, and it's been a hit ever since. Takahashi-sensei has always loved games and his favorites include Shogi, Mahjong, card games, and table-top RPGs. Kazuki Takahashi says he thinks Yu-Gi-Oh! is strange. :) He origonally meant for it to be about the "mysteries of everyday life", but it wound up being a lot of things. He traveled to Egypt to do background work before he began the series. His favorite Magic and Wizards card? The Blue-Eyes White Dragon.
