THE KARAOKE CLUB!

Hello all and welcome to the Explosive Karaoke Saloon where our favorite do-gooders sing their hearts out with the friendly help of a teleprompter...
It's evil, yes, but isn't that sort of a given here at BHFS? We live to serve, and although nobody asked for this, I'm servin' it up on a silver platter anyway, because, in reality, how can you resist Gateau with pigtails...
So, without further adue...

(The Songs)
:

Sitting on Top of the World, by Yaeko, is a weird little "song fic" featuring a drunk Gateau dressed up like Woody Guthry... "Sitting on Top of the World" is property to Woody Guthry, unless he wasn't the one who wrote it, in which case, it's that person's song.

Gateau's Dreams, by Yaeko, is a wacked-out parody of the Eurythmic's "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)" that makes Fala scream in agony every time I start to sing it... It's kinda funky... Song belongs to the Eurythmics, but this parody belongs to me... Bwahaha...

Slow Like Honey, by Yaeko, features Marron getting up and singing about his feelings for Gateau... I guess... It's song-fic, style, I guess, expect that it's actually Marron sining, instead of the lyrics being all italicized or some nifty thing like that. The song belongs to Fiona Apple... We love Fiona Apple... Erm, I do, anyway.

Donna Taitoru Mo Boku Wa Iranai is from the BH CD and is translated and "interpreted" by Yaeko. Of course, "interpreted" might not mean what it usually does. (Typical scenario during "interpretation": I am staring at the copmuter screen, dumbfounded, going, "What in hell... TOE SOCKS?!?!?!?") It needs to be said (or maybe it's obvious by now) that I speak very little Japanese, and a lot of my translations were done word-for-word... This is, by the way, a Marron song. Even if I got did it all wrong, it seems that the jist is that Marron is lamenting the fact that so many people misunderstand him. Or... something like that.<

Futari No Ginza Sanshoume is another of Yaeko's crack-ass attempts at translation. Don't kill me for massacring the Japanese language. This one is a duet between Marron and Gateau... Fala and I often use this song in conversation... I.e., we look at each other go, "Suspicious wind!" and crack up.

You, by Kloot-chan. Lyrics by Mustard Plug. A Gatterron-y songfic for your enjoyment. Kloot-chan describes it as "concerning Marron and Gateau, and their unfounded love."

I'm Like a Bird, by Kloot-chan. Lyrics by Nelly Furtado. A sad songfic wherein Marron realises that he can no longer return Tira's love.

Evaporated, by Yaeko. Lyrics by Ben Folds Five. As he walks away, Gateau wonders if he has just made the worst mistake of his life. Poetic, angsty, references to yaoi situations, general depressing-type thoughts.

The Hentai Dominatrix Cartoon Show, by Fala, is an absolutely halarious parody of the RHPS "Midnight Double Feature Picture Show." I love this thing!!!!

I Wish I Was, by Fala, is sung to the tune of "If You're Happy and You Know It." I adore this... Extremely funny!
Sawng o' Chocolate, by Fala, is a really funny ... uhm... song. (::Boffs herself over the head with a large hairbrush. Ouch.::) Sort of, in some sickly funny way, akin to Sittin' on Top of the World, except this time it's Chocolate singing her mournful country song. Muchly amusing!

Sorcerer Hunters Goes Musical, by Yaeko. It's an attempt at humour. Pretty much all the dialogue is lyrics from songs... ::Shudders:: I'm weird...

Watch You Sleepby Yaeko. Lyrics by The Nevers. This was originally supposed to be a Carrille songfic, but it turned into more of a characters study of Milphey. Milphey explains his feelings for Carrot, and the beauty of a man in repose.

Am I Feeling Love?, by Fala. Lyrics from The Theif and the Cobbler. This is a really, really sweet fic. Nighttime in the Stellar Church, and neither Marron nor Gateau can sleep. All it takes is a lullaby and a fuschia haired bishonen to cure them of their worries... Again, I say, very sweet, and even a little bit funny.

A Path Between the Stars, by Rei. Lyrics by David Bowie. Simmilar in some ways to Am I Feeling Love?, this sweet fic has Marron and Gateau come together one night, shortly after their final battle with Zaha Torte, at a small seaside resort.

Kiss the Whip, by Yaeko. Parody of Kiss the Whip, by Jewel. Sort of funny, sort of serious. I guess I couldn't figure out what I was doing that night... Hn.

Rap A La Little Vegetable, by Fala. Fala describes this as Carrot's "soul-song," and I'd have to agree. Extremely funny Carrot-centric rap.

Spectacular, Spectacular, by Cafe Latte. A great little filk (I suppose that's the correct term, ne?) from the Moulin Rouge song. A hilarious parody of an already hilarious song.
