We understand that people sometimes go off the deep end for a little while. It's natural, it's human. But there are things that are not acceptable in any form in any aspect of society. The perceived anonymity of the boards or the game doesn't make things like this acceptable.
About the least offensive thing that I could use as an example (and this is completely unrelated to the whatever the person who this thread is about may or may not have said) would be threatening to track someone down in real life and cause bodily harm to them or their family. Something of that nature would not only get someone banned on the first offense, but would result in us making a report to law enforcement.
There are other examples that I wouldn't go into in this forum or any other, but as I mentioned above, some things are so far out of the realm of reasonable behaviour that they wouldn't deserve the benefit of the doubt.

My brother hasn't played for awhile. He is going to cancel the account unless someone wants it. I forget the exact level, but his bard is able to play around in Sol A with the bats and bugs and has been soloing multiple hill giants and cyclopses since he was in his 30s or even 20s. He is stripped down. Also included in this account is the legendary Mightyhaggis, a low level barbarian warrior reknowned for his cooking skills. Sanlaren the gnomish cleric. Tanodar(?) the level 5ish ranger with a short sword of morin, and a bunch of other crappy characters. Please e-mail me at kgold0@hotmail.com if you want him. We will decide the adoptive parent of the account on a first-come-first-serve basis but we will take Vigilante seniority and how well we know you into account. This is not illegal, as it is a transfer and not a sale... and even if it were a problem (which it isn't), we want to cancel the account anyway so who really cares?
P.S. Also, I requested that gamers take away my "Board Creator" statuses in the Private and Officer forums and give them to Merrek, so he has ultimate rule on the message boards now.
