| Before Doppler’s revolution, a report was filed concerning a report about a transport being shot down in possible maverick infested territory. The report would say that there were no survivors from the downed craft accept one, a inactivated winged feline repliod. Since no identification numbers, nor passenger or flight logs could be salvaged from the crash, the feline’s creator remains unknown to this day.
Taken back to the hunter base the feline was then examined to insure that it had sustained no serious damage from the crash or that it contained no possible threats to anyone. Once this was done the feline was then activated as it was found like any other newly activated repliod with limited data and knowledge, shortly afterwards a case of mistaken identity would occur.
Zero being the first thing the feline saw, it instantly developed it’s first phobia given Zero’s appearance as the feline dashed out of Life Saver’s recovery room. Alia being the only other person there took it upon herself to go and console the feline...and convince him that Zero wasn’t the boogieman. The feline seemed to warm up to the spotter and after a comment from X the feline mistook Alia for it’s mother.
Despite her best efforts to explain to the feline they were in no way related, the feline was thoroughly convinced it was her son. It was decided to spare the feline the psychological shock, that Alia would take the feline in for a few years until it had matured enough to take care of itself, hopefully before the allotted time it’d be able to figure out that Alia wasn’t it’s mom.
Naming the feline after a hover transport, he was given the name Jaguar. As the month’s rolled by, Alia found the feline to be able to take in information at a record rate. Not only that, but it seemed to be maturing at a faster rate than other repliods. After a rough estimation from Dr. Cain, it was found that instead of reaching a adult maturity level within a few years, it’d reach that level within six months.
During these six months Jaguar learned how to use his wings and jets, gradually evolving into the skilled flyer he is today developing a strong sense of freedom, loner ship and a easy going attitude. Because of his constant evolving CPU, the feline would often seek out challenges that referred to the mind, namely games that involved strategy and insight.
The time eventually came for Jaguar to leave Alia’s care and the hunter’s base, preparing to strike out on his own. As time rolled on the feline would develop a regular life style with no specific goals in mind. One day whoever he’d meet some one who’d change his life forever, a girl named Psy Hedgehog.
Jaguar would first meet Psy while making a pizza delivery to the said girl, for the feline it was love at first sight. In time he’d eventually work up enough courage to ask the human girl out on a date from there he’d develop a study relationship with her. As time went by Psy’s pacifist beliefs and gentle nature would slowly wind their way into Jaguar’s being.
Tragedy would strike the feline’s life when Psy would be taken from him. It was on a spring’s day when Jaguar had decided to tell the girl how he felt about her. Having her meet him at a out door café where they had met many times before, the words were right on his tongue when a alarm for a maverick assault sounded.
Taking cover behind a turned over table Psy saw it before Jaguar did, a maverick on a roof top taking aim at a random area, theirs. Without saying a word Psy pushed the feline out of the way just as the maverick fired. A mild explosion would send the two flying. Jaguar came through with minor damage but Psy had suffered extensively, she would be gone long before the paramedics would arrive.
Agonized over Psy’s death, the feline found himself lost with no where to turn. In a situation like this it would be easy for one to imagine suicide being a obvious way out of the pain. But for Jaguar that was out of the question, Psy had taught him that all life was precious and after all Psy had sacrificed her self just so Jaguar could live to see another day. With that fact in mind along with the issue that it had been a maverick that had ended Psy’s life, he decided he would become a hunter, one who would fight against rogue repliods who saw human life as nothing more than a infestation.
Upon some advice from a experienced hunter, Jaguar decided against enlisting in the hunters immediately. Learning that the hunter’s training program only taught a repliod to use what it knew, Jaguar enlisted himself in combat and weapon classes. His accelerated learning ability helped him learn everything these courses had to offer in giant leaps and bounds, though he would need hunter training to glue these together.
Training however proved to be more of a challenge, as this would put the feline in realistic situations some where he nearly choked. In training sessions where some official hunters would come to make sport of the trainees, those who took aim at the feline would find themselves facing a more darker side of the feline suddenly, losing a vast portion of their pride. Upon final completion of hunting training, Jaguar had exceeded all of his colleagues in feats that namely involved scouting, being given the honor to serve at the main hunter base where the feline had ironically grown up. Taking the last name of 2X after his serial number 2X46732, the feline began his career with the maverick hunters.
Upon his return to the hunter base, Jaguar was put under the command of Commander Hack, who for personal reasons had a strong hatred for furry types. Determined to be rid of the feline he would send him on several missions where any normal repliod would of met his end. But like the hunters in training, whenever any mavericks would find the feline cornered again a more darker side of the feline would emerge, here however the mavericks weren’t as lucky as the hunters, most meeting gruesome ends.
Frustration would flood Jaguar’s commander with failure to send the feline to his doom, this frustration would lead Hack to going maverick where he himself would attack Jaguar in a secluded storage area of the base. Here however Jaguar’s dark side did not appear as it was just the normal feline Hack fought, but this proved to be just enough to allow him to defeat his now insane commander.
For a short time Jaguar was without a commander, a temporary loner until a new opening in another command could be found. Taking Jaguar in, the commander of the 00 unit put him through a grueling test that the feline just barely passed allowing him entry into Zero’s command which Jaguar2X now currently serves under.
(Update: recently the dark side of Jaguar has identified itself as a separate entity from the feline naming itself simply as Silveron. Silveron’s origins and his general intentions for Jaguar like all the other mysteries of Jaguar at this point are unknown) |
