WAHAHAHA!! You asked for history, you'll get history. *evil grin*
Destiny was born in Japan, though she is not Japanese by heritage. When she was four, her parents died in a car wreck. A great family friend, named Skye, was watching her at the time. Upon hearing the news, he granted Destiny his 'powers'. Skye had been an irregular hunter, though neither Destiny nor her parents knew this. Skye was later captured by the irregulars. He never told Destiny about her powers, and so she rather unfortunately discovered them by blowing up a car while in foster care. She traveled from home to home, never able to control her abilities, and becoming hated by the people of Japan for the accidents she caused. When she was nine, she found two white tiger cubs, which she raised, named Blizzard and Snow. Eventually hating Japan as much as it hated her, she fled to America, where she was adopted by an elderly lady who had no knowledge of her power. In her freshman year, she made friends with a girl named Zeb. Halfway through freshman year, she found out that Zeb was a reploid, and Zeb discovered her secret. Through Zeb's influence, Destiny became a hunter. The duo ended up on New Genesis purely by accident. A "friend" of theirs had a dimension portal crystal, which he had happily been using to transport them around. Finally fed up, Destiny chucked her sabre at him. The crystal fell to the floor, transporting Zeb and Destiny to New Genesis. Along with them came Ice, incedentally.
