Rillium is a valuable semi-rare metal. Rillium has energy repelling properies, but is relatively soft. It is not very good for use as armor except when it is used as plating on a much stronger metal.
While Rillium can repell spread-out, erattic burst of energy, tightly organized energy like charged buster shots, beam sabres, and high-power laser beams can quickly shread this metal (if the force of the energy is stronger that Rilliums impact tolerance, then the metal's energy repelling properties cause it to be forced away from the energy, causing it to shred itself apart)
Any weapon that isn't energy based (like metal blades) can easily cut through this metal due to its low impact tolerance.
Rillum has been around for quite awhile. However, it shares the similar properties and qualities with silver, and has often been mistaken for that.
