CNDragons are a specific model of dragon reploids designed by Dr. Doppler (from a specific demention) with the CN mobility system (What does CN stand for? Go ask him yourself!). CNDragons are fully animal-type reploids and are not given common speach programs, though they can understand several languages usually have the same intellegence level as most reploids. Smaller CNDs are more typical for pets, medium ranged CNDs are used for guards or partners, and larger models may be used for transporting equipment or as mobile weapons.
There are many series in the CN model dragons, identified by the code CN-??, with a number denoting the model of CNDragon. Numbers are in relation to hiegth; such examples are:
- CN-01 model is as long as the forearm on an adverage humanoid-reploid.
- CN-19 model is as tall as the shoulder, standing on its hind legs.
- CN-29* model is as tall as the shoulder, sitting down
- CN-79 model is about 3 stories tall.
CN-29 Model: The magic number.
This was the first model Doppler ever manufactured. They can be used for attacking, but their primary programing was meant for defensive purposes; the only thing lethal about them is their teeth, claws, and flame. The CN-29 model is also equipted with a variety of non-lethal devices that is can use, most common of which is a pair of electrodes contained in their horns that casts beams of paralyzing energy that is effective for a few seconds, but causes no damage.
These dragons act somewhat cat-like in personality and are curious and independent, but they are very loyal to their masters, tending to imprint the first person they see as this. They will often take lethal hits in place of their masters. They communicate to eachother using a special communication program. To any reploid without the program, it mearly sounds like a series of beeps and clicks. These dragons can upload the program to other reploids if they so choose to, but usually only give the program to their masters.
The CN-29 was called the perfect model for the CNDragons, but they were very difficult to make and only 6 were manufactured (Alpha, Beta, Delta, Gamma, Theta, Omega). Other units from the CN-29 model might possibly be made at another time.
Note: prolonged cold is lethal to the CN-29 model. It causes systems to degrade and the possibility of permanent damage is high if they are left too long.
