Character Listings/Availability
As said before, this is a brand new chat room hand has no holding basis on the rpg ring, but I still have a respect for my vetran and longterm players. They will always have first claims to their character in any of the chat rooms, and therefore they are being listed here, along with the other people who wish to have their characters posted here.
This is the listing of all the characters being used. Any character that isn't listed likely isn't being used officially. You are free to claim these characters, or make up your own for use. Also posted with the characters is a short description/summary of the characters so you can get a better idea how to play with them. You do not have to claim a permanent character to play (you can always assume a temporary guest handle), nor are you limited to one character. Though I suggest a limit of three, you are free to use as many characters as you like.
How to claim a character for use
- Search the lists to see if the character is already on there.
- Characters in the 'Claimed/Made' list are already being used as permanent characters. Variations of these characters are not allowed (can't have two X's or Sigma's). However, having a character from an alternate demention is allowed, given you can provide information for how to distinguish the variant from the original (see Character rules #2 for the MMRH RPG Board for further clarification/examples)
- Characters in the 'Temporary Claimed' list are already being used in the RP Ring, but the owner does not mind giving them up to a new player in the public chat room. The owner will likely continue to play the character in the RP Ring chatrooms, but if the new player joins the RP Ring by either of the was mentioned, they will give full use of the character over to the new player
- Characters in the ''Public' Use' list are being used in the RP Ring chat rooms, but they currently have no interest or plans to play in the public chat room. They are free to be claimed, but cannot be brought over should you join the RP Ring (they already exist there)
- Contact me in one of the ways mentioned on the next page to state the claim of your character so that I can make note of it, and to inform the previous owner in the event of taking over one of the Temporary Claimed characters.
- If you wish, supply a short summary or some information about the character (usually in the case of fan chars) that can be used to make a description about it. This is not required, and some rpers might wish to become familarized with the chat and use a few events that happen as a summary. You're welcome to submit or change the descrption at any time, and it is encouraged to keep your character's info up to date.
Once all that is done, you're free to rp with your claimed character. Keep in mind that if you do not wish to claim a character or have the info posted, you are not required to. The chatroom is free and open to use at any time.
