Gasoline Retailers Association of Florida is a non-profit association representing Independent Gasoline Retailers, Convenience Stores, Gasoline Service Stations, Repair Shops, Tire Retailers, Truck Stops and Associates throughout Florida. This year, we are urging the passage of Non-Participating Manufacturers (NPM) Fee Legislation on cigarettes in the Florida Legislature.
Most tobacco companies that do business in Florida make payments to the State for healthcare costs – but not all. By passing this legislation, this loophole in the state’s tobacco payment system will be closed and Florida could collect more than $175 million a year for health care.
