The purpose of EDT 210/315 is to prepare students in the Teacher Education Bachelor's Degree program to begin using technology in the context of their chosen profession. This is an 8 week, 1 credit course covering competencies required by NCATE accreditation standards.

The content is the same for both 210 and 315, however, students who are majoring in elementary education should be registered for EDT 210, while students majoring in secondary education should be registered for EDT 315. You MUST be admitted to the Teacher Education Program to be enrolled in either course.

The course takes a project approach to skill acquisition, allowing students to utilize technical skills while producing materials they could use when teaching. General content includes:
