The Memories Showband/
Three Inspirations/
Charlie Hodge Page

Without a doubt, the Memories Showband and the Three Inspirations are first class. The Showband, led by the multi-talented Hank Miles, backs up each song with power and authenticity, whether they are playing Elvis, Patsy Cline, or Buddy Holly music. In other words, they are fantastic.

And the Three Inspirations are unbelievable. Flash Grimes leads this trio of wonderful voices as they perform the back-up and while they individually add their talents in the first half of the show. Look closely, and you'll see that the wonderful "Dolly Parton" is Betty Koopman and that the deep-voiced "Patsy Cline" is the soprano, Christine Llewellen. Finally, Flash Grimes is "Linda Ronstadt" and also blows the theatre away when she sings "Crying" with Larry Branson (Roy Orbison).

Finally, Charlie Hodge, Elvis' best friend and band member, joins the band during Lou's part of the show. He plays the guitar and also harmonizes with Lou (very well, I might add) in songs such as "Help Me," "I Just Can't Help Believing" and "Suspicious Minds." Just like everyone else at Memories, Charlie Hodge adds his unique talents to create the best show in Pigeon Forge.
