3D comics were just one of many fads during the 50’s. Rock and Roll was perhaps the biggest fad during the 60’s with events such as Woodstock going on.

All sorts of New Products were coming out in the 50’s, any thing from Teflon, a none stick material on pans, to swimming pools, to jukeboxes. A new item that was out there was Medicare, which provided hospital insurance.

One of the major inventions in the 50’s was the invention of Plastics. This new material would replay glass, wood, and metal in certain items. Developed from government funded research during World War II, plastics quickly found there way into peacetime consumers products. A new invention that showed up was Napalm and Agent Orange, all though not for consumer use, they both had a tremendous impact on the Vietnam War. Both items would eat away at the jungle at which the Vietcong were hiding.
