Cut to More Fan Fiction

Dr Jordan Cavanaugh is a smart, sassy, Boston medical examiner who has an obsession with solving her cases that goes beyond the morgue. This quite often exasperates her boss, Dr Garret Macy, her co-workers, her ex-police detective father, and police detective Woody Hoyt; but more often than not they go with it, and when they don't, Jordan just takes matters in her own hands. For they are a close-knit group—they are family; and Jordan has reasons for her obsession with crime... her mother's unsolved murder and other dark secrets from her past.

Running for six seasons, Crossing Jordan starred Jill Hennessey (Law and Order), Miguel Ferrer (Twin Peaks, Bionic Woman), and Jerry O'Connell (Stand By Me, Sliders), and ended on a note that left fans hungry for more and writing a virtual season seven.
