Camp Clewell is one of two organized Group Camping areas at French Creek State Park. (map of Camp Clewell)

The camp includes a large dining hall with full kitchen facilites, a first aid cabin, shared bath houses and several sleeping huts spread out over several acres. The huts have picnic tables and fire rings.

Camp Clewell is secluded so barbershop activities will not interfere with other campers.

If you are staying at Camp Clewell, here are some things you might want to remember to pack:

Air mattress, bedding (sheet blankets, pillows), folding chair(s), cooler, bottled water, sunscreen, bug repellent, bug spray, sweats (evenings get quite cool), umbrella, rain jacket/poncho, medications, flashlight/lantern

We ask that you do not store food in the sleeping huts. Food can be stored in the kitchen in the cabinets, fridge or freezer. Meals can be eaten at the dining hall or at the picnic tables outside the huts.

If you have a medical issue or emergency CONTACT THE WAGONMASTER at the staff cabin. A vehicle will be designated for medical transport if necessary.
