I have enjoyed computers as a hobby since 1981.  It used to be considered a weird novelty, now it is nearly a necessity as it impacts almost every facet of our lives. The amazing thing is, we have just begun to scratch the surface as much more is yet to come.  So much has already changed in our lives, so much more excitement remains.

AnandTech A terrific site for computer equipment reviews and news.  Includes CPU over-clocking, equipment comparisons and manufactures links.  Tom's Hardware has even more of the same and is also an excellent resource. Reviews done by users for users can be found at Computing Review

Interested in a few of the top magazines? You can read reviews, look at the latest industry changes and download new games and utilities.  Try PC World or PC Magazine.  Also look at CNet and ZDNet for great information.

Windows 95/98 Networking One of the best on the web for handling all types of networking questions.  If you need a device driver or want to find that elusive DLL try Win Drivers or Driver Zone. With a little luck one of these should have the driver you need.

Hotmail Mail and Mail Com are two of my more favorite FREE Internet based mail programs.  Mail Com will even let you chose your domain name.

X-Drive A virtual hard drive out in cyber space.  That's right, they will give you 10 Meg of space on their server for FREE.  You can store a presentation, pictures, games or just do a limited back-up and have access to the files from anywhere in the world.

Price Watch I know this is listed elsewhere in this home page, though it is worthy of duplication.  A fantastic search engine for finding great computer equipment deals on the web.
