All fees are subject to negotiation and discussion, depending on the size
and complexity of the project, the nature of the organization, and degree of
staff participation. Please keep in mind that my time is often committed several
months in advance. I get results, so I'm busy. A nominal retainer is necessary,
with the balance due on completion or by prearranged installments. Fees cited
below are approximate and variable.
GRANT PROPOSALS
Planning: needs analysis, evaluation design, program development, strategic
planning, organizational and staff assessment. $400- $1000 per day, plus travel
expenses where applicable, or a flat rate depending on your needs and my
schedule.
Research: customized research for any project or need, making use of the
largest available databases of federal, corporate, and foundation sources, and
state and municipal sources where applicable. $750- $5000.
Contact Building: $400- $1000 per day, plus travel expenses where
applicable.
Grant Writing and Implementation. Full grant proposal, including approach
letters, with multiple submissions to appropriate funding sources: $1500- $6500,
based on numerous factors.
INCORPORATION: all paperwork necessary to establish a nonprofit corporation
in your state or another state where applicable. $500- $1500, applicant
responsible for filing fees.
APPLICATION TO THE IRS FOR FEDERAL 501(c)(3) TAX-EXEMPT STATUS: all required
paperwork. $750- $2000, applicant responsible for filing fees.
WORKSHOPS: One-full-day workshops in GRANTS AND HOW TO GET THEM or FUND
RAISING FOR NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS, on site in your organization, through your
college or university, or for a community group. $500- $1000 (plus travel
expenses if outside Ohio), depending on location, type of organization or
institution, and fee charged to participants.
