Wassup everyone!
My name is Keiana - more commonly know as KEKE!
Almost everyone calls me that, and only some close
friends actually remember that my name is Keiana.
:-) Anyway, welcome to my homepage. Here's some
random info about me that you might care to know -
if not - it was nice of you to act like you cared
for a minute... :-)

I am 23 years old and I was born in Brooklyn, NY
(buk buk!) My family is Jamaican - a little culture
ya know! I am proud to claim Brooklyn, but I only
lived there till I was about 12 years old. My
neighborhood - Crown Heights - was made up of
Jamaicans, Haitians, lots of Spanish people right
across the street, and of course Jews! Can't forget
them!

Then suddenly, we moved to the Bronx; our arch
enemies!!(at the time.) And that is where I call
home today. I went to the Bronx H.S. of Science. And
I graduated class of 1997 - in a graduating body of
700 people. I don't know too much about the part we live in now, since I'm away at school. But it's cool. I know more about the Bronx than Brooklyn anyway.

These days, I'm a 5th year student at Virginia Tech
in Blacksburg, VA. Go HOKIES! And I am majoring in
Architecture. I plan to graduate in May of 2003, and intern for a couple years before getting my Masters. I hope to build commercial spaces for major companies and residential housing for
low-income families. Just because it has to be cheap doesn't mean we can't work a little common sense and architecture into it! (A notion that was inspired by the way I lived my whole life.)

I like hanging out with my real friends, although
I'm kind of shy at first. And eventually, some people mistake this for snobbiness... (I'm not all that shy once we've got to talking.) I consider myself a down-to-earth person though, who just loves bugging
out!
If I am adamantly against something - you won't find me doing it because chances are - I've done it before, and it didn't go so well. And that could just euphemistically be called "experience"! Right? However, I am open to new ideas. I hate public embarrassment or awkward situations, so I tend not to want to cause them. I try to surround myself with people who can provide good convo and non-stop laughter...

My hobbies include poetry, creative writing, web design, and stepping! I've been involved in lots of activities from Storytelling, to playing congo drums to Cheerleading. I'm currently involved in NSBE, NSBE Step Team (1st place National Competition
2000!), CaribSO, and NOMAS
(National Organization of Minority Architecture
Students), of which I am also the webmaster for. I am also the Stepmaster and Webmaster for my lovely sorority, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. - Upsilon Lambda Chapter.
Check us out!

I am not very spontaneous, but I do like being able
to do what I want when I want if I should ever want.
(Say that 3 times fast!) I am not too athletic! So if you are - you can just press the 'Back' button on your browser!! :-) (Joking...) I like to keep myself busy doing something, but it doesn't have to be Billy Blanks SuperAdvanced "You Know You Can and WILL Die!" But really, I like to play volleyball - didn't say I'm great at it, but I enjoy it. And Red Light, Green Light, 1-2-3! :-) I also like swimming - didn't say I do it often... And hope to one day parachute off an airplane! Ya with me?!?!
