• North Hertfordshire District Council have compiled a short History of Letchworth 
• For a "virtual" tour of the town (or any town) Letchworth - the first Garden City in the world is hard to beat. A superb, copiously illustrated, site. 
• Letchworth Garden City Heritage Foundation have produced a site.
• Information and the centenary celebrations - Letchworth 2003
• Letchworth Online is a local business-related ISP with a good selection of links to local businesses and organisations. 
• David's Bookshop is the real centre of the town. Far more than just a place to buy books, if its happening in Letchworth, David's knows!
• Dr Mervyn Miller - the leading authority on Letchworth and Garden Cities - has a useful site
• The Letchworth Garden City Society have also launched a site of their own

... and beyond

There are a great many sites on the subject of Howard and the Garden City Movement. A few choice key words in any search engine will reveal all. However, some of the better ones I am aware of are listed below:

• Ebenezer Howard's Garden Cities of To-Morrow includes extracts from the book.
• The Effect of Sir Ebenezer Howard and the Garden City Movement on Twentieth Century Town Planning looks at Howard's influence on wider town planning. 
• Garden Cities: Ebenezer Howard Had a Point  a 1998 article from Planning magazine (American Planning Association) says that "after 100 years, Howard's ideas are still alive -- but not where you'd most expect them."
• A look at another UK "garden city" is Wythenshawe: the story of a Garden City 
• The Garden City Archetype looks back at the European tradition for planning behind Howard's work
