The following pictures detail the installation of a fuel cell in the trunk of the 66. I originally planned on utilizing the spare tire well but the amount of fabrication to get a "square peg into a round hole" would have been too involved so I decided to remove it completely and replace it with a fabricated "box."
Trunk pan before cutting. I'll have to take a look at what the convertibles pan looks like. This one might replace it if it's in pretty bad shape.

I made the bottom of the fuel cell out of 16 ga. (I know, a little heavy) and the sides out of 20 ga.
