Hossegor, France
Hossegor is known as the best beachbreak in the world. And it certainly can be. Along its coast there are a few well known banks, one of them hosts every year the Hossegeor pro ASP event. My favourite bank is Graviere, it's a back breaking shorebreak which can reach up to 15 feet. La Nord can reach up 20+ feet, and only breaks a few times a year. If you go here, keep in mind that there are now camp sites near the beach, you need a car or hitch. But it's deffenetly worth it.
Sandy Beach, Barbados
Barbados is a friendly island in the caribean, which happens to have a few nice brakes. The best know one is Soupbowl, a good righthander over reef. It breaks up to 20 feet. There are reef, shore and beachbreaks all over the island. A few wellknown, a lot hardly surfed. You can find nice empty waves if you are willing to search. And in the evening there is a true caribean party spirit going on.
Sosua, Dominican Republique
The Dominican is not known for world class waves, but you can find good ones. Like Sosua, a small town with a bay. The wave breaks in the middle of the bay And that's the only place it breaks, appart from a small lefthander on the side. It breaks from 3 to 9 feet, and it's a easy paddle. But its not a consistent break, so make sure u got something else tod do.
