Did you every wonder about your
ancestors? What their names were, where they were born, who they married.
Did they have children? Did their children have children? Where did they
live and what did they do for a living? Were they Doctors or Lawyers or
Politicians or maybe just common people striving to earn a living the best
way they could. Did they fight in the many wars this nation has seen? What
were their lives really like? Of course you've wondered about all of these
things, or you wouldn't be spending all the time you now spend doing this
seemingly endless research. Roaming from web site to web site hoping for
some shred of information to add to the puzzles pieces you've gathered
along the way.
And when you do find the bits
and pieces, the exhilaration of making this all seem worthwhile. As you
assemble your puzzle they begin to form pictures in your mind. You can
actually visualize what they must have gone through to keep the family
name going from generation to generation.
On these next few pages take
a minute to look at the names that make up my "Family Tree". Maybe you'll
recognize a name and find that in some way we may be "kin" to each other.
