My SCHULTE Family starts with Carl SCHULTE born September 1850 in Halzhausen, Germany. He immigrated to the United States in 1881 and settled in Missouri. Carl married Wilhemina JOHANNING (born ? Germany). Carl was found in the 1900 census in Bowling Green Township, Chariton County, MO. At that time the census showed he was widowed. Carl married Minnie HENNINGS after Wilhemina died. Carl's children were Charles born May 1882, Rudolph William (Bill) born September 1886, Emma born August 1891 and Christena (Stena) date of birth unknown. I'm uncertain at this point who the mother of the children was.

Carl's brother Henry C. SCHULTE born January 1849 in Halzhausen, Germany also immigrated to the United States in 1872. Henry was found in the 1900 census living in Bowling Green Township. Chariton County, MO. Henry married Emma Marie MEYER born August 1872 Germany. Henry and Emma's children were Leta E. born September 1887, Minnie L. born August 1893, and Lena born June 1895.
