The turtle place... they thrive in the security of their little haven on the lake! Formerly resident on the western end, they've been forced by motor activity to move to a more secure, less active place.

The heron! This beautiful bird can be seen when all is quiet on the lake... early morning or evenings.

Choose to venture gently out on the lake when all is quiet and you may be fortunate to see this elegant creature!
