Protection
The snow leopards protected by various international and national treaties and laws which hope will make the snow leopards continue to exist. And the snow leopards have been listed on the (IUCN) World Conservation Union's an organization that has listed them on their Red List of Threatened Species as “Endangered” since 1972. And in addition now all 12 snow leopard range countries have laws protecting this unique cat. But unfortunately some of these laws have been there since the 1970’s they vary in effectiveness and enforcement.
