Behavior
Snow leopards are very shy and elusive animals and are mostly active at dusk or dawn and especially when there are very few people around. Scientist call this a crepuscular activity pattern. And snow leopards are not at all aggressive to humans there hasn't been any recorded attack on a human by a snow leopard. The only time a snow leopard will get aggressive is when it feels threaten or when it feels its cubs are in danger. Also like every other big cat the snow leopard is a solitary animal and when a group of snow leopards are seen spotted is when it’s a male or female paired for mating season or when it’s a mother and its cubs. Also they communicate with each other from a distance. And then they mark their territory by leaving feces as markers urinating against overhanging rocks and there usually at nose level so other cats can easily smell it.
